As aTelecom Engineer, you’ll take charge of designing, deploying, testing, and optimising complex telecom systems—supporting everything from urban 5G rollouts to remote radio sites and national fibre backbone infrastructure.

Network Design & Implementation

• Plan, design, and implement telecommunications networks (2G/3G/4G/5G), including IBS and outdoor macro sites.

• Configure multi-vendor systems: Huawei (BBU3900/5900), Ericsson (RBS6000), Nokia (Airscale).

• Select technologies such as fiber optics, microwave, radio, or satellite, based on project requirements.

• Ensure infrastructure complies with international telecom standards and local regulations.

Testing & Optimization

• Conduct comprehensive system testing, signal analysis, and performance tuning.

• Monitor KPIs and run health checks, audits, and drive tests to validate network integrity.

• Troubleshoot latency, signal degradation, or system bottlenecks across layers.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Handle on-site fault resolution and preventative maintenance of all deployed telecom equipment.

• Troubleshoot alarms, prepare/execute scripts, manage link migrations, and perform mix-mode activations.

Security & Reliability

• Implement security protocols to safeguard the network infrastructure from cyber and physical threats.

• Ensure failover readiness and redundancy for mission-critical systems.

Team Collaboration & Technical Coordination

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—network planning, RF, NOC, IT, and field ops—to drive project success.

• Mentor junior engineers and interface with vendors and subcontractors during deployments.

Continuous Learning & Tech Awareness

• Stay updated on emerging technologies in satellite comms, fiber expansion, 5G integration, and AI in telecoms.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience:

• 3–7 years of telecom field and/or design experience with leading operators or vendors.

• Strong familiarity with Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia systems and integration processes.

Technical Proficiency:
