We are hiring a Strategic Planning Manager who will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic investment opportunities outside the UAE. This role involves conducting in-depth market research, developing comprehensive business plans, and formulating strategic initiatives to attract and secure investments from international investors.
Your missions :

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential real estate investment opportunities in international markets.
  • Analyze market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory environments to assess the feasibility and attractiveness of investment projects.
  • Evaluate potential risks and opportunities associated with international real estate investments.
  • Identify booming communities with high growth potential and investment returns.

Investment Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to attract and secure investments from international investors.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key international investors, including institutional investors, private equity firms, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Create compelling investment proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of investment opportunities.
  • Determine target nationalities based on investment trends, economic factors, and cultural affinity.

Business Planning and Financial Forecasting:

  • Develop detailed business plans for potential investment projects, including financial projections, sensitivity analyses, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost forecasts, revenue projections, and return on investment (ROI) analyses.
  • Monitor and track the financial performance of investments, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

Stakeholder Management and Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, finance, legal, and development teams.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as international investors, financial institutions, and real estate consultants.
  • Represent the company at international conferences, industry events, and investor meetings.

Due Diligence and Transaction Execution:

  • Manage the due diligence process for potential investment opportunities, ensuring all relevant information is gathered and analyzed.
  • Negotiate and structure investment agreements, working closely with legal counsel to protect the company's interests.
  • Oversee the execution of investment transactions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress and success of investment initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing updates on investment performance, market trends, and future opportunities.
  • Analyze investment performance data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for strategic adjustments.
Requirements

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.

· Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in real estate investment, strategic planning, or a related field, with a focus on international markets.

· Proven track record of successfully sourcing, evaluating, and executing real estate investment transactions.

· Deep understanding of global real estate markets, including market dynamics, investment trends, and regulatory environments.

· Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills, with the ability to develop complex financial projections and investment analyses.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.

· Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with international investors and other key stakeholders.

· Strong negotiation and deal-structuring skills, with experience in negotiating complex investment agreements.

· Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

· Familiarity with the UAE real estate market is an advantage.

We are seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to work with us in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and comment on Baseline Schedules and other schedules, reporting to the Controls Manager.
  • Monitor contractors' major construction progress against approved schedules, ensuring adequate equipment and manpower.
  • Review recovery schedules submitted by contractors, ensuring proper manpower and site supervision staff allocation.

  • Perform all analytical tasks required during the strategic planning process such as market assessment and financial implications. Prepare 5 strategic plan report and strategy maps
  • Support development and execution of group and business unit strategies, with a focus on Aldar Investments
  • Contribute to the annual development of strategic scorecards and support quarterly performance reporting across businesses and subsidiaries
  • Engage in new product development initiatives, including business justification, market strategy, and collaboration with stakeholder teams for analysis and decision-making

Qualification & Experience
Related years of experience
  • Min of 2 years of strategy experience in a large multi-national company, real estate company (annual revenues of at least AED 2 billion) or a top-tier management consultancy
Field Of Experience
  • Expertise in strategy deployment / frameworks, concepts and practices
  • In depth knowledge of GCC real-state market
  • Management Consulting / real-estate, or construction.
Technical And Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills are required for making presentations to the leadership team
  • Ability to multi-task, proven skills in negotiation and problem resolution
  • Ability to manage and build consensus among various stakeholders

A global family office are on the lookout for a Strategic Planning Specialist to join their operations team to further develop their operational resilience across multiple business units. Working closely with the Deputy COO of the group, the Strategic Planning Specialist will focus on multiple areas of the business, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to drive operational and strategic planning. The role will take a technical lead in developing KPIs, dashboards and performance reports. The operations function covers multiple areas and this is reflected in the role, however, the core mission is to deliver comprehensive strategic planning and operational excellence across the group. The role will also encompass operational project coordination, governance and cross functional reporting.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have 4 to 8 years of experience within consulting or strategic planning within industry. Strong technical skills is an absolute must as well as a desire to join a single family office to shape and develop their strategic planning.

Senior Master Planner Role

The Senior Master Planner will lead the master planning process of assigned projects from test fitting at the feasibility stage to other master planning work at CMP and DMP stages.

This involves managing the master planning team, developing RFPs for tender or quotation, providing tender clarification and recommending award, as well as certifying payments to consultants for completed work.

Key responsibilities include preparing test fit master plans using in-house or consultant services, coordinating with transportation, environmental, public realm, and design teams to ensure their concerns are addressed in the master plan, and preparing variation orders for management approval when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 6 years of experience in managing master planning design and technical work either at a consultant, developer, or government organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in town planning, urban design, architecture, or equivalent.
  • Excellent master planning and design capabilities, strong conflict resolution skills, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
