Chubb has setup a flagship digital affinity company called Chubb Digital Partners (CDP), which will provide holistic embedded insurance or protection value propositions for distribution partners in Life, General, and Health Insurance, as well as Value-Added Services (VAS). CDP will conduct operations in India, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and across Africa. The company will either operate as an insurance intermediary and/or operate as a tech services provider.

CDP will start with a lean team structure, a key vertical of which will be the Insurance / Reinsurance vertical. The Head of Insurance / Reinsurance will oversee the end-to-end interaction of insurance / reinsurance within CDP, including:

  • Creating product constructs tailored for partners’ customers
  • Sourcing preliminary pricing from within Chubb and externally from insurers / reinsurers / assistance service providers
  • Managing relationships with insurers and reinsurers across key markets
  • Supporting the Partnerships and Growth teams on partnership pitches, growth strategy, and expansion of markets / solutions
  • Leading and driving the reinsurance strategy and setup for Chubb Digital Partners

  • Engage & grow relationships internally within Chubb’s ecosystem as well as with external insurers, reinsurers, assistance services providers, brokers, and TPAs
  • Prepare documentation and oversee relevant processes for – product proposals, product specifications, commercial models, insurance content, and customer-compliant documents
  • Review & negotiate commercials within Chubb and with insurers / reinsurers / assistance service providers, including benefits, exclusions, T&Cs, onboarding & claims practices
  • Review & propose regulatory and legal requirements for partnerships, insurance structures, taxes & fund flows
  • Work with the Strategy team to design and create storylines, visions, and narratives for partners
  • Represent CDP at industry events and conferences
Qualifications

What skills & experience are required?

  • Minimum 15+ years working experience in the insurance or financial services industry
  • Prior experience in reinsurance is preferred
  • Prior experience in Insurtech industry is a bonus
  • Strong network with insurers and reinsurers in India and MENA markets is required
  • Experience in fast, growing startup or similar
  • Extensive experience in general insurance (travel and retail verticals), any additional experience in Life and Health insurance is a bonus
  • Experience in developing and executing end-to-end product launches, especially through an insurtech
  • Experience in product pricing, including actuarial and data-related work
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects from conception to production
  • Familiarity with the industry or sector relevant to the organization is a plus
  • Able to work on the ground with team members and cross functional teams beyond leadership-related responsibilities
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Do you have the experience, business acumen, strategic insight, and executive presence to engage with C-suite leaders and top-tier consulting partners to drive business innovation at scale? In this role, you will own and develop AWS's strategic partnerships with global business consulting and advisory firms, helping enterprise clients realize the full value of their transformation journeys through the power of Amazon's proven practices and cloud capabilities.

This high-impact position requires a unique combination of skills such as strategic thinking and planning, executive relationship building, executive engagement for business outcomes, and enterprise transformation expertise. You will collaborate with senior consulting partners and enterprise executives to develop joint value propositions, go-to-market strategies, and transformation frameworks that accelerate customer success. You will be responsible for shaping the partnerships locally and for driving success in the strategic collaboration agreements.

You will represent the partnership to senior AWS leadership, Senior Consultancy leadership, and C-level clients. Your ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive results at the intersection of strategy and technology will be crucial in establishing AWS as the partner of choice for enterprise transformation in the region.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Identify and develop strategic transformation opportunities with global consulting partners and their enterprise clients in the Middle East region.
  2. Play a leadership role in the EMEA partnership organization, helping shape and execute our consulting partner strategy.
  3. Orchestrate collaboration between consulting partners, AWS teams, and enterprise customers to drive successful transformation outcomes.
  4. Build and maintain executive relationships with consulting firm leaders to develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies.
  5. Drive strategic business development initiatives while coordinating with key internal stakeholders (sales, partners, marketing, solutions architecture).
  6. Help consulting partners build and scale their AWS transformation practices and capabilities.
  7. Lead industry-specific innovation initiatives, bringing together customers and consulting partners to develop transformative solutions.
  8. Utilize internal systems and tools to track and report on partnership success metrics.
  9. Present regular business reviews to senior leadership on partnership development, transformation success stories, and strategic initiatives.
  10. Navigate complex stakeholder environments while maintaining pace with rapidly evolving market opportunities.

Required Experience:

  • 7 years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience.
  • 7 years of professional or military experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Management Consulting in a top Firm (Ideally McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Kearney, Roland Berger).
  • Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments or as a practice leader or business unit owner.
  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
