Job Purpose
The Parts Specialist is responsible for ensuring the availability and timely delivery of automotive parts, efficient inventory management, and professional support to internal and external customers. The role demands a blend of technical knowledge, customer service, and strong organizational skills to drive operational excellence within the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and store incoming parts and accessories, checking against orders and delivery notes.
- Accurately process and fulfil parts requests from technicians, service advisors, and retail customers.
- Maintain updated inventory records, conduct stock checks, reconciliations, and cycle counts.
- Source hard-to-find and urgent parts through approved suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Advise customers on parts compatibility, availability, and suitable alternatives.
- Prepare quotations and process parts sales invoices as per company pricing policies.
- Monitor and address slow-moving or obsolete inventory, supporting stock optimization.
- Support warranty returns and documentation in compliance with manufacturer requirements.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and secure storage area.
- Track and follow up on outstanding orders and backorders, keeping stakeholders informed.
- Adhere to company policies and health & safety standards.
- Participate in periodic and annual inventory counts.
- Contribute to achieving department sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Collaborate with workshop, sales, and logistics teams for smooth workflow.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (technical/automotive certification preferred).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in automotive parts operations, ideally in a dealership.
- Knowledge of automotive parts catalogues and ERP/DMS systems (e.g., Autoline, Kerridge, or similar).
- Proficient in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Competent in MS Office and inventory management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving and resourcefulness in sourcing parts.
- Organizational and multitasking skills.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.

We are seeking a dedicated Spare Parts Specialist to join our Abu Dhabi team in the Oil & Gas Industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance engineering and spare parts management.
Key Responsibilities:- Upload received SPIR lists in AIN and obtain approval from the cataloguing team and end users
- Review Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPL) and recommend spare parts for all new projects
- Review Master Data Governance (MDG) requests through SAP to ensure optimal inventory and quality
- Review existing material inventory stock levels to ensure optimal quantities in the warehouse and minimize financial exposure
- Review vendor drawings and manuals to ensure 2-year and lifecycle spares of all equipment under project scope are covered in RSPL
- Interface between PMT, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure resolution of material requirements during the Project Phase

- Support material write-on/write-off and repair and return processes as per roles and responsibilities supporting division objectives
