MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To oversee day-to-day inventory activities for assigned markets, aiming to maximize network revenue by applying effective Revenue Management (RM) strategies and working closely with other RM streams, such as Pricing and Demand, as well as relevant stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads execution of inventory optimization strategies for assigned markets, leveraging deep insights into demand patterns, show-up rates, and system outputs to maximize network revenue.
- Manages optimal flight cabin overbooking levels by balancing expected show-up rates and cancellation trends to reduce revenue leakage and denied boardings.
- Conducts detailed analysis of booking trends, market dynamics, and POS-OD mix to inform inventory decisions and adjust strategies dynamically.
- Provides actionable recommendations on equipment deployment and flight capacity to Network Planning & Operations teams based on data insights.
- Partners with Airport Operations to proactively manage overbooked flights and mitigate risks of denied boarding incidents.
- Evaluates demand shifts, booking behaviors, and competitor movements, ensuring pricing and inventory strategies remain agile and aligned with market conditions.
- Evaluates post-flight performance data to measure strategy effectiveness and implement timely improvements.
- Reviews and refines O&D and flight-level demand forecasts by applying expert manual adjustments reflecting anticipated market events.
- Analyzes and communicates POS-OD demand trends to RM stakeholders, enabling coordinated and data-driven decision making.
- Monitors and evaluates seasonal, holiday, and special event demand patterns to ensure accurate forecasting inputs and capacity planning.
- Develops and maintains demand sponsorship models for new routes or frequency changes within forecasting systems.
- Tracks and evaluates key RM metrics, Revenue per Available Seat Kilometre (RASK), yield, load factors, average fares, and market share, to identify performance gaps and opportunities.
- Supports Regional Leads by providing detailed POS performance analysis and assisting in strategic demand and inventory planning.
- Builds and maintains exception and ad-hoc analytical reports using Power BI and MicroStrategy to support quick, informed decisions.
- Collaborates with Systems teams to provide ongoing feedback and influence enhancements for revenue management tools and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management, mathematics, economics, or business management preferred
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 4 years experience in airline commercial operations or related field.

- 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics; experience in footwear, apparel, or sports brands preferred.
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle NetSuite, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
