We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pathologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing diseases by examining bodily fluids tissues and other specimens using laboratory tests and procedures. The Clinical Pathologist will collaborate closely with clinicians and laboratory staff to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal patient care.
Responsibilities- Conduct laboratory analysis of blood urine and other body fluids.
- Interpret test results and provide diagnostic reports to treating physicians.
- Monitor the quality and accuracy of laboratory procedures and results.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for laboratory testing.
- Oversee the validation of new diagnostic tests and equipment.
- Education: MBBS with specialization in Pathology (MD/Board-certified in Clinical Pathology or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum 3 5 years of experience in a clinical pathology setting.
- Licensing: Eligible for or holding relevant medical license (e.g. MOH/DHA/SCFHS as per country requirements).
- Nationality: Open to all nationalities (Arab-speaking preferred).
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage; English fluency is essential.

Responsibilities- Role Summary: The Physician Specialist Clinical Pathology will serve as the licensed authority for Glucare Integrated Diabetes Centers laboratory services across its facilities. The role ensures that all laboratory processes comply with regulatory standards accreditation requirements and best practices thereby supporting high-quality patient care and operational excellence.
- Policy & Documentation Review
- Provide final approval and sign-off on all laboratory policies SOPs forms and checklists to ensure compliance with DHA regulations and international best practices.
- Laboratory Oversight & Visits
- Conduct a minimum of one visit per month to each laboratory to stay updated on operations workflow processes and any changes in laboratory practices.
- Regulatory & Accreditation Compliance
- Ensure all laboratory policies and documentation align with DHA standards JCI accreditation and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide oversight and support during accreditation processes which occur every few years.
- Quality & Risk Management
- Uphold the highest quality standards in laboratory operations.
- Identify gaps in compliance and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- 3 hours per week per facility (currently 2 facilities Jumeirah and Al Barsha; soon expanding to 3 facilities).
- Additional time commitment required during accreditation cycles.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- DHA-certified Physician Specialist Clinical Pathology (Chemical Pathology with Chemistry specialty).
- Proven understanding of laboratory regulations quality standards and accreditation requirements.
