We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Job Responsibilities:- Monitor and provide care to patients in the Emergency Medicine specialty
- Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
- Analyze records, reports, and test results to diagnose patient medical conditions
- Interact with patients to gather additional history and information about their medical condition
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients
- Provide specific treatments and/or perform operations to treat patient medical conditions
- Evaluate patient progress and record applicable notes about patient's condition for purposes of serving as a record of treatment and/or a possible referral to another member of the healthcare professional team
- Liaison with other medical and non-medical staff to ensure quality patient treatment
- Perform surgical procedures and operations as appropriate
- Supply and provide care in a culturally appropriate and sensitive manner
- Participate in administrative functions that ensure the continued operations of the clinical environment, such as committees, task forces, and performance improvement measures
- Provide hospital on-call in-patient coverage as deemed necessary
- MD, MBBS, MBChB, or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of specialty qualification as per the Recognized Specialty Certificate table listed in Healthcare Professionals Qualification Requirements
- At least 3 years of clinical experience as a Specialist post-qualification in internationally accredited institutes
- Demonstrated expertise in specialty practice area
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills with patients, staff, and other physicians
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data at all times
- Ability to speak and write in English is required; ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred
