Job PurposeSupports the Proposal team by collecting, organizing, analyzing and managing all documentation needed for a proposal
Job Description- Coordinate ITT review and execute quotation prep in line with agreed strategy. Focal point for preparation and submission of quotations. Review tender requirements and coordinate with relevant functions (ie. Sales & Aftermarket, Engineering, Planning, QA, HSES) to gather inputs for tender preparation and submission.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address clarifications/negotiations. Coordinate contract review with internal and external stakeholders. Review tender – able to review the tender. Verify and follow up for the completeness of tender document. Conduct kickoff meeting with internal stakeholders.
- Prepare Order Execution Plan. Prepare Bills of Material (BOM) – able to prepare a BOM that meets tender scope of work in a timely manner. Confirm the BOM with the quotation layout.
- Prepare costing – able to estimate costs in a timely manner (full system costs will be handled by Costingteam). Communicate clear requirements and get RFQs from qualified vendors / internal stakeholders. Adjust standard costs from SAP to reflect actual costs.
- Facilitate pricing of tender – able to present costs and historical prices. Seek pricing approvals. Package tender – able to coordinate and prepare the bid package within schedule.
- Identify commercial and legal terms and costs/risks – able to apply Incoterms. Identify critical risks on terms and seek advice from SME on LD term.
