Job Title:
Seismic Data Acquisition Specialist
We are seeking a skilled professional to acquire, collate, process, interpret and report geophysical data. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading projects of low to medium complexity.
About the Role:
- Project Planning: Coordinate project timelines, resources and travel arrangements, and assist in mobilizing projects including equipment testing and packing.
- Data Processing: Process and interpret geophysical data, maintain continuous communication with clients and stakeholders, produce high-quality reports and deliverables, and communicate regularly with office-based project managers regarding site progress and planning.
- Project Management: Assist in managing geophysical data deliverables, understand procurement terms to ensure contractual compliance.
Requirements:
- BSc / MSc or equivalent in Geophysics, Geology or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience in compiling reports, quality control of data interpretation, and managing geophysical data deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build good relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines, strong attention to detail, quality, and safety, and a disciplined, self-motivated, flexible team player.
