The United Arab Emirates University Department of Physics is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a faculty position in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics. About the Role:
We are looking for a talented individual with expertise in Quantum Materials, Energy Harvesting, or Energy Storage. The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree in Physics/Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, with professional experience and a track record indicating excellent potential to conduct distinguished research, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and community service.
Responsibilities:
- To develop and maintain a research program in the area of expertise
- To secure funding for research both internally and externally
- To publish research findings in reputable journals
- To supervise MS and PhD students
- To participate actively in teaching physics courses at undergraduate and graduate levels
- To take part in the department's administrative and community services
- To actively promote the Department of Physics, the College of Science, and the University through excellence in teaching and research
