• Able to access the situation & take the appropriate solution to incase process abnormalities occur.
• Proper/safe handling of chemicals/consumables.
• Should be able to work in shifts & prepare activities reports & manage the entire site.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Respond and attend to guests/ customers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Program and monitor energy management equipment to operate at maximum operational efficiency and avoid peak demand charges and penalties.
• Perform monitoring the operation of pools and maintain the water parameters as per the DM guidelines.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Monitor and troubleshoot heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment including air handlers, motors, variable speed drives (VSDs) and controls.
• Lead and train the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) team in the operation of energy management equipment and calibration of equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pressure vessels, boiler permits and boiler controls.
• Log boiler water parameters regularly and maintain as per the limits.
• Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance.
• Visually inspect equipment or machines and record any abnormality.
• Log meter readings and make appropriate adjustments to the energy management system as required.
• Monitor electrical demand, usage of refrigerant, well pumps, and the filtration systems.
• Perform safety checks on related equipment as required.

1. Maintain machines during operation and perform necessary mechanical adjustments.
2. Properly start and stop machines; perform parison controls.
3. Control material parameters in production (regrind level, weight distribution, parison length, flash length, etc.).
4. Clean, adjust, and perform minor repairs on equipment.
5. Follow production schedules to ensure the quality and quantity of output.
6. Manage material consumption, waste reduction, efficiency, and quality of machine-produced products.
7. Troubleshoot mechanical or process issues and make necessary adjustments.
8. Ensure all machines operate safely, efficiently, and reliably per guidelines.
9. Maintain product quality with ongoing quality checks during shifts.
10. Support changeover teams and report issues affecting performance.
11. Report downtimes and efficiency metrics as per SOPs; perform all machine setter duties.
12. Follow safety practices and report hazards or damages promptly.
13. Adhere to 5S procedures and actively participate in 5S initiatives.

1. 1-2 years of experience in the plastic industry, with knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical troubleshooting.
2. Knowledge of plastics blow moulding or injection moulding equipment, processes, and control systems.
3. Experience with production machines, utilities, and infrastructure.
4. Electrical certification is preferred.
5. Basic understanding of plastic engineering and manufacturing.
6. Knowledge of toolmaking, mechanics, or electronic systems in plastics.
7. Experience with setups, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
8. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Operating System.
9. Basic toolmaking, mechanical, or electronic knowledge.
10. Ability to work day and night shifts.
11. Effective verbal communication skills in English.

Generally performs, with supervision, entry level production tasks which include:

• To operate the converting machines of Cling Film, Aluminium Foil and Baking Paper effectively and safely.
• Completing job orders within the deadlines.
• Ensuring that machines are working properly and safely.
• Basic troubleshooting and identifying problems in a timely manner.
• Monitoring machine operations and either repairing or reporting malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Cleaning machines and work area at the end of every shift.
