Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team as a Postdoctoral Associate. The successful candidate will work on a project focused on experimental and numerical modeling in geomechanics for energy applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute experiments and numerical simulations to advance the understanding of geomechanical systems.
- Analyze data and results from experiments and simulations to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
- Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to integrate experimental and numerical modeling techniques.
Required Qualifications:
- A PhD in Engineering Mechanics, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Research experience in computational mechanics and computational geomechanics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in modeling geomechanical systems.
- Experience in hydraulic fracturing experiments.
- Experience with advanced imaging tools.
- Experience in multiphysics modeling within solid mechanics frameworks.
- Experience with non-linear solid material response and fracture modeling.
- Experience in machine learning applications in solid mechanics.
- Experience in developing and coupling numerical methods for solid mechanics modeling.

Multilingual Translation Validation
