The Product Marketing Engineer Power Distribution is responsible for life cycle management of Eaton's all LV products and assist the sales organization in a country with execution of channel marketing activities targeting Tier1 and Tier2 partners in Middle East sales organization.
The individual all LV products is a part of a wider Middle East marketing organization, and is to collaborate closely with other marketing team members and sales teams to define the target markets for the supported products, participate in creation of local business strategies and go-to-market strategies for the chosen target markets, as well as execution of respective marketing plans to support the agreed long-term business strategies and achievement of profit plan goals on the annual basis.
The individual is a go-to person in the supported local sales organizations and the main internal and external communicator about the products, who is fully able to translate technical features into commercial messaging. This position is also a part of a wider Product Marketing community of Eaton Middle East.
**What you'll do:**
+ Manage the supported product portfolio through the entire life cycle and contribute to the successful sales of the products to the defined target markets in the supported countries
+ Selection of products fitting the need of the defined target markets
+ Market gap & product fit analysis
+ Competitive analysis and price positioning of supported product ranges versus competitors
+ Ensure product margins and profitability, support with specific price requirements
+ High involvement in market intelligence projects for the relevant products in cooperation with the Market intelligence and ME pricing
+ Develop and execute an action plan in cooperation with the local sales team to grow product sales (target specific customers, markets, channel, value prop)
+ Provide intimate VoC and regulatory insight to Business Units to support new product development
+ Content validation and creation in cooperation with marcom (web content including marketing collaterals, videos, web content, emails, social media etc)
+ Prepare for and participate in customer & channel events (key-note speeches, presentations & technical product support)
+ Sales and partner enablement: validation, creation and delivery of technical trainings to sales teams, partners and customers
+ Support specific projects or negotiations together with sales team (to improve win-rate etc)
+ Technical expertise in supported products
+ Regular internal communication on the supported products
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree (Electrical/Mechanical Engineering)
+ 3+ years' of related work experience
**Skills:**
+ Good understanding of electrical products and technologies
+ Understanding business basics including revenue projections, business metrics and financial planning, as well as pricing.
+ Marketing skills: knowledge and experience in demand generation, digital marketing, project management etc. is an advantage
+ Presentation skills: the ability to be persuasive in front of customers, partners, industry influencers, competitors, policymakers
+ Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
+ Experience in working with cross functional teams in a dynamic environment
+ Experience of working within a matrix organization
+ Translation of technical features into commercial messaging
+ Experience in working in a comparable marketing / product management role
+ Relevant industry/sector experience in the Gulf Region is a must

The Power Electrical Engineer provides technical support to project teams, coordinates with other engineering disciplines, and assists in solving complex engineering challenges to ensure successful project delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the project manager to review electrical design plans, technical specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

- Provide daily support in electrical site installations, ensuring the complete delivery of all electrical scope of works in compliance with project specifications, design documents, and safety regulations.

**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Electrical Engineer** to join our team! In this role you will get to assist the Resident Engineer in administering the operational functions of the day-to-day activities on the project with respect to utilities works.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
**Report to the Resident Engineer and assist in supervising the construction of Electrical infrastructure works and associated items.**
**Act in place of the Resident Engineer when on leave or absent.**
**Coordinate his direct activities with the other engineers and members of the construction supervision team.**
**Assist the Resident Engineer in reviewing of shop drawings, design proposals, method statements and other activities including correspondence related to the utility section and prepare replies for the review of the Resident Engineer.**
**Coordinate with Parsons' design engineers for resolution of related issues.**
**Maintain the daily diary and the daily reports by the inspectors.**
**Coordinate with the contractor engineers on scheduling and application of resources.**
**Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the inspectors and surveyors as applicable.**
**Convene and chair special meetings with the service authorities, the contractor, subcontractors and other parties related to his work.**
**Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.**
**Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project.**
**Prepare / Assist in the preparation of Weekly and Monthly progress reports.**
**Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer and the project safety representatives.**
**Provide all necessary on-site direction and assist the Resident Engineer to issue site instructions with respect to utilities works and associated items.**
**Check and measure the performed work in his line of work, record and assist the Resident Engineer to display progress vs. programmed work.**
**Ensure correctness and completeness of 'as-built' drawings within his line of work.**
**Experience and familiarity with DEWA & Dubai Local Authorities' (RTA) procedural requirements, review requirements, and approval requirements.**
**Review the drawing & design before DEWA & RTA approval submittal. Follow up with Contractor as well as the authorities for getting approval to maintain all files and records on designated forms/format. Ensure that the contractor is not relieved of his responsibility without client authorization.**
**Coordinate with DEWA & RTA contractor for execution of LV/HV & OHTL work.**
**Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.**
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
**Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.**
**Minimum 8 years postgraduate experience in design, site supervision and construction management of (Electrical) projects in Dubai.**
**Should be able to review and justify the material submissions, analyze laboratory and technical reports, carry out acceptance sampling plans, testing and quality measures, ensuring the compliance with the project's Specifications.**
**Experience in dealing with government authorities such as RTA, DEWA, DM etc.**
**Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.**
**Must be fluent in English written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.**
**Keep necessary records and as-built records and take charge of the handing over of the utility works to the respective service authorities and assist the contractor to obtain necessary final clearance.**
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
**Must be available in UAE/Dubai.**
**Thorough knowledge of DEWA & RTA regulations and standards.**
**Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications.**
