We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Electrification Engineer. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems in the oil fields.

• Expert knowledge in testing and commissioning of Transformers, Siemens Switchgears NXAIR, 8DA10, Sivacon S8 and the protection systems.
• Willingness to work at site in the challenging On and Offshore O&G environment on rotational base with 12 hour working time 7 days a week.

• Provide advanced technical support for Siemens distribution systems with a focus on testing and troubleshooting.
• Deliver testing & commissioning that address unique customer requirements in industries such as oil & gas and petrochemicals.
• Act as the on-site technical representative for Siemens leading the end-to-end testing and commissioning process.
• Coordinate and verify testing results, updating site-specific documentation and closing out any open points.
• Collaborate with customer teams to achieve timely testing and commissioning of the Siemens equipment and acceptance of the testing works.
• Independently handle complex technical issues and mentor less experienced engineers as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities and prepare comprehensive test records and reports.

• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, high voltage engineering or a related subject is required.
• Min 5 years' experience as Commissioning Engineer in O&G Projects.
• Expert Level knowledge of Siemens MV and LV products and power applications. Commissioning Training Certifications in Siemens Transformers, NXAIR, 8DA10 and Sivacon S8 systems and the protection systems is preferred.
• Intercultural experience gained by work in the middle east.

This critical role will lead budgeting, forecasting, and business modeling efforts, providing high-impact financial insights that influence operational and strategic decisions across the energy and engineering sectors.

• Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts aligned with operational plans across divisions.
• Build and manage complex financial models for project structures such as ESaaS, SPVs, and MEP service contracts.
• Track and analyze financial and operational KPIs/KFIs, providing actionable insights for business leaders.
• Deliver clear financial presentations and dashboards highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Evaluate the impact of energy markets and regulatory shifts on financial planning.
• Partner with project managers, engineering leads, and commercial teams to align forecasts with execution strategies.
• Champion automation and digitization of financial processes using SAP ERP and Power BI.
• Conduct feasibility studies, scenario planning, and variance analysis for projects and long-term agreements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications (CA, CFA, CPA, CMA) required.
• 7–10 years of finance experience, with 3–5 years in Energy and/or MEP sectors.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, project finance, and commercial analysis related to energy systems and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP, Power BI, and BI tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for technical and executive stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

· Conduct power system studies (load flow, short circuit, relay coordination, arc flash, stability) for utility, industrial, or renewable projects. 

· Design and review single-line diagrams (SLDs), protection schemes, and control systems. 

· Develop technical specifications for electrical equipment such as transformers, switch-gear, relays, and cable systems. 

· Support grid code compliance analysis and assist in the integration of distributed energy resources (DERs) like solar PV or battery energy storage. 

· Coordinate with clients, contractors, and local utilities (e.g., DEWA, ADWEA, TRANSCO) for design approvals, interconnection studies, and permitting. 

· Review and validate vendor technical submittals and drawings to ensure conformance with project and local authority requirements. 

· Participate in factory acceptance tests (FATs), site acceptance tests (SATs), and commissioning activities for power systems equipment. 

· Prepare detailed technical reports, project documentation, and engineering studies for submission to clients and authorities. 

· Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards during all stages of project execution. 

· Stay updated with evolving UAE regulatory standards and international best practices in power systems engineering. 

· Education:  

o Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems or related specialization). 

o Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., DEWA/ADWEA approval, PMP, or PE license) is a plus. 

· Experience:  

o 3–7 years of experience in power systems engineering, ideally within the GCC or Middle East power infrastructure sector. 

o Hands-on experience with power system planning, grid studies, load flow, short circuit, stability, and protection coordination. 

o Experience working with utilities (DEWA, ADWEA, TRANSCO, SEWA, FEWA) is highly preferred. 

· Technical Skills:  

o Proficiency in power system software such as ETAP, DIgSILENT Power Factory, PSCAD, or PSS/E. 

o Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (IEEE, IEC, DEWA/TRANSCO specifications). 

o Knowledge of renewable integration, SCADA systems, and smart grid technologies. 

· Other Skills:  

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage). 

o Valid UAE driving license is an advantage. 

o Ability to work onsite in high-voltage substations and power plants, as needed. 

Experience in power system studies for substations and grid integration of renewable power plants. Preferred knowledge of renewable generation (Solar PV inverters, wind energy systems), HVDC, and FACTS devices (STATCOM, SVC, SCG).

Hands-on experience with software such as PSCAD, PSS/E, ETAP, and DigSILENT is required.

• Conduct grid integration studies including transient and steady-state stability, voltage stability, harmonic, power quality, LVRT, and Fault Ride Through analyses.
• Perform short circuit analysis and determine switchgear and circuit breaker sizing according to standards.
• Carry out insulation coordination studies involving cable, transformer energization, reactor energization, TRV, lightning strike, and transient overvoltage studies using PSCD or similar tools.
• Perform arc flash analysis adhering to international standards.
• Conduct contingency analysis for grid component design.
• Perform ferro-resonance studies related to transformers and EHV cables.
• Analyze secondary arc current extinction for auto-reclosure studies.
• Select surge arresters based on residual voltage and energy levels.

• Load flow studies for assessing network overloading with RES capacity additions.
• Identify reactive power requirements for various RES scenarios.
• Model renewable sources such as Solar, BESS, and Wind.
• Assess operational challenges of different RES technologies.
• Verify grid code compliance before energization under various operational scenarios.

• Perform motor acceleration and re-acceleration studies for process requirements.

• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, DEP, and other standards.
• Analyze technological solutions for system studies.
• Estimate input parameters for studies when data is unavailable.
• Interpret country-specific grid codes, especially Middle East standards.
• Identify issues during grid integration and propose solutions.

• Design of power generation mixes for microgrids and battery storage using HOMER or similar software.
• Protection relay selection and coordination studies.
• Modeling of Phase Shifting Transformers.
• Experience with customer and utility interactions for grid impact approvals.
• HVDC, STATCOM projects, including electromagnetic compatibility studies.
