Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical design and engineering tasks, including single-line diagrams, cable sizing, load calculations, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
- Develop electrical system designs and prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and material requisitions for electrical equipment and systems.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in the engineering phase (FEED and Detailed Engineering) of large-scale oil and gas projects.
- Previous work experience on similar projects is mandatory.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD, and other relevant applications.
- Strong knowledge of applicable standards, procedures, and approval processes.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Dry Utilities Design Engineer to join our team In this role you will get to prepare dry utilities design for telecom network, falcon Eye , Lighting network and Low voltage system designs.
What You'll Be Doing:
Independently carry out designs of electrical power distribution systems and prepare electrical HV and LV Designs, lighting designs for tunnels, car park structures using Dialux, and AGI32 software.
Prepare earthing design as per IEC Standards.
Prepare power cable sizing calculations using industry software.
Carry out electrical load flow study short circuit analysis and earthing design using industry standard software like ETAP.
Prepare logical sequence for PLC/SCADA systems of tunnels, car park etc.
Prepare Power/Control/Instrumentation cable Schedules.
Prepare electrical design for MV/LV/ELV systems of tunnels and under passes.
Design Fire alarm and Life safety systems and shall be conversant with NFPA as well as Local Civil Defense Regulations.
Preparation of telecom network designs.
Preparation of falcon eye network designs.
Roadway lighting designs as per ADM lighting manual.
Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and associate engineers working on the same project.
Preparation of detailed technical, commercial and Life Cycle Cost Analysis of various technical alternatives.
Suggest value engineering to optimize design without compromising the techno-functional requirements.
Prepare and deliver detailed technical reports and presentations for the Clients.
