Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner with strong expertise in capital markets, trading, clearing & settlement, and wealth & asset management. The role involves gathering and translating business requirements into functional solutions, managing product backlogs, and ensuring successful delivery of technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes, regulatory frameworks, and post-trade processes, while effectively collaborating with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to drive product strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements for trading, clearing, settlement, and wealth management systems.
- Define and manage product backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Agile/Scrum.
- Provide domain expertise across asset classes and the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with regulations (MiFID II, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, SEBI, FATCA).
- Act as liaison between business, IT, vendors, and external partners (brokers, custodians, clearing houses).
- Support UAT, implementation, and release management.
Role Requirements and Qualifications:
- 6+ years as Business Analyst / Product Owner in Capital Markets / Wealth & Asset Management.
- Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle, post-trade operations, and market infrastructure.
- Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Visio, SQL, Excel.
- Familiar with FIX, SWIFT, APIs, and system integrations.
