**Job Description**
The Resident Engineer will lead the supervision and management of the stormwater drainage components of a major infrastructure project in Dubai. The role is responsible for ensuring that all works are executed in full compliance with contract requirements, RTA/DM standards, approved drawings, and project specifications, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead the delivery of assigned project packages, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality targets.

+ Mentor and supervise subordinate engineers and inspectors, conducting performance reviews and ensuring skill development.
+ Conduct internal weekly meetings to monitor site performance and formulate corrective actions when necessary.
+ Ensure adherence to all relevant RTA, DM, and local authority procedures and specifications related to microtunneling and drainage works.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned to support the successful delivery of the project.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master's Degree preferred).
+ Professional Engineering license or Chartership (e.g., CEng, PE) is an advantage.
+ Comprehensive understanding of Dubai Authority procedures and approval processes (RTA, DM, DEWA, etc.).
**Experience Requirements**
+ Minimum **20 years of post-graduate experience** in the design and supervision of major infrastructure projects.
+ Proven experience in **microtunneling works, stormwater drainage systems, deep shaft construction.**
+ Extensive **UAE experience** -particularly within Dubai-is essential, including a strong track record with **RTA and Dubai Municipality** infrastructure projects.
+ Experience managing **multi-disciplinary teams** , overseeing contractors, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders and authorities.

+ Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering field (i.e. Civil, etc.)

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
+ Minimum 15+ years of overall work experience in construction supervision of large infrastructure, utilities relocation projects etc.
+ Recent and substantial work experience of infrastructure, utilities projects in UAE is must.
+ Knowledge of NOC Procedures, Commissioning and various Government Authority specification & procedures in the emirate of Dubai is required.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is required.
+ Proven leadership capability to lead a senior role.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of construction-related processes as well as working knowledge of industry practices.

**Resident Engineer - Infrastructure**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Resident Engineer - Infrastructure** to join our team! In this role you will get to manage the Construction Supervision of Infrastructure Projects in Abu Dhabi and will oversee daily construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards, manage resources, coordinate with contractors, and ensure project success from start to finish.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Overseeing the daily operations and progress of construction projects to ensure successful execution.
+ Managing and directing project teams, including Assistant Resident Engineers, Inspectors of Works, and Quantity Surveyors.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
+ Minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience, with at least 10 years in a managerial or technical lead role in large-scale infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
+ Demonstrated experience in handling technical and financial proposals, evaluating constructability, technology deployment, and solving technical challenges during construction.
+ Experience in managing Health & Safety and Environmental Protection aspects of deep underground structures and similar large-scale projects.
+ Proven experience in managing Design & Build projects.
+ Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with other construction projects in the vicinity and consult with statutory bodies for acquiring consents and licenses.
+ Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent technical writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
+ Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of engineers and technical staff.
+ Proactive problem-solving ability and capacity to manage work across multiple areas on-site.
+ Computer skills are mandatory, with proficiency in relevant software tools for project management and construction tasks.
+ Must be available in UAE to attend physical interviews.
