Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Assistant Production Manager with experience working in-house or within an agency; managing commercial video and/or photo campaigns, beauty photoshoots, and social content. You should be used to working in a fast-paced environment, and motivated to work as part of an in-house Production team to create content that will be used across traditional and digital platforms. You’ll be part of a close-knit team, managing requests from the global marketing team and social team, as well as any other departments, in-house, meeting all cross-functional content requirements.
You must be comfortable communicating and negotiating with multiple suppliers and also have the ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time.
Please note that this role is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pre-Production Planning: Assist in scheduling shoots, booking talent, securing locations, applying for shoot permits, and managing call sheets.
- On-Set Coordination: Oversee shoot logistics on shoot days, from equipment and product setup to ensuring the crew is looked after and ready to roll.
- Finance: Maintain budget/cost tracker, liaise with finance to ensure freelancer/vendor payments are on track, including petty cash, and credit card reconciliations.
- Administration/Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including release form trackers, Pos, and New vendor trackers.
- Inventory Planning: Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment orders in collaboration with supply chain and demand planning teams.
- Vendor & Talent Liaison: Communicate with freelancers, agencies, models, and glam teams to ensure correct documents are compiled for new vendor setup.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate internal production teams, including videographers, editors, and motion graphic designers, to ensure seamless workflow and project execution.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and managing expectations throughout the production process.
- Problem-Solving: Identify potential production challenges and proactively develop solutions to ensure smooth project execution.
- Post Production Support: Collaborate with the post-producer to ensure timely and high-quality completion of all projects.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in production management, preferably within an agency or in-house at a similar brand.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in production tools and software, including project management tools and video production equipment.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

About the Role
As Production Manager , you will take full ownership of production and technical delivery across all event elements, managing suppliers, schedules, resources, and on-site execution. You will work under the Senior Project Manager to align production requirements with creative vision, ensuring that all technical, fabrication, staging, and logistical aspects meet safety, quality, and client standards.
What You’ll Do
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all production and technical aspects of the event.
• Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing, contracting, and on-site supervision for fabrication, staging, AV, lighting, and technical teams.
• Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and milestones.
• Oversee budget control for production-related expenses, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Conduct regular site inspections and technical reviews to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and DCT regulations.
• Liaise with internal teams (creative, marketing, F&B, operations) to align production execution with event objectives.
• Manage on-site build, show, and dismantle phases, troubleshooting issues and ensuring seamless operations.
• Maintain detailed production documentation, including floor plans, CAD drawings, equipment lists, risk assessments, and compliance reports.
• Lead post-event evaluations, including supplier performance reviews and technical reports.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in production management, event management, or technical operations.
At least 4–5 years of experience in large-scale event production or live activations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and workstreams simultaneously.
Proven ability to manage production budgets and negotiate with suppliers.
Proficient in technical drawings, production schedules, and health & safety compliance.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a calm approach under pressure.
Comfortable working directly on-site in Liwa under tight timelines and event conditions.
Experience with large-scale cultural or public events in the UAE.
Familiarity with DCT documentation standards and approval processes.
Strong technical knowledge in AV, staging, rigging, and fabrication.
Comfortable liaising with government stakeholders and international vendors.
