Role & Responsibilities:-
Should have good knowledge of Lubricants and working experience in Lube oil preferably Automated plant.
- Should have good knowledge of Lubricants and working experience in Lube oil preferably Automated plant.
- Should be familiar with and having working experience of PLC controlled System or DCS.
- Should have excellent computer skills and be familiar with SCADA. Can enter master data in the SCADA and verify and validate the recipes on the system.
- Extract the required MIS from the SCADA.
- Ensure that all the complaints are efficiently addressed and resolved. Based on the complaints work for the Corrective and Preventive action.
- Should be able to execute Production planning and scheduling.
- Batch study, standard operating procedure improvements, Process improvements related to quality
- Should work to minimize production losses by developing and improving blending/ filling processes.
- Gather and investigate statistical data. Review, report and investigate on production batch variances and take corrective action to avoid recurrence.
- Coordination with Raw Material/Inventory/ Stores and Ware House to balance the receipt/ dispatch of materials/ products
- Should be able to manage and optimize manpower, assign duties and obtain maximum output
- Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturers instructions and established procedures
- Coordinate with other sections to solve and fix production related issues
- Monitor the blending facility, bulk storage, unloading and loading facility, and packaging lines.
- Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends
- Should be able to maintains product and process database
- Manage systems and foster environment of continuous improvement to maximize operational availability
Other Responsibilities :-
- Responsibilities also include safety compliance, monitoring, measuring, and improving overall quality first pass yield through the implementation of standard operating procedures
- Assure product and process quality by designing quality control methods, FOR process capabilities, establishing standards, confirming manufacturing processes
- Responsible for ensuring equipment is maintained to comply with environmental and health and safety requirements / facilitator for OSHA, and government requirements for plant operation
- Review operating setup, inspection instructions and verification of documents. And any other responsibilities as per company rules and delegation from the superiors
Preferred candidate profile
- The successful candidate will have a Bachelors of Science OR Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Chemical Engineering with strong chemical or lubricants manufacturing experience).
- The successful candidate will have 3 to 8 or more years of experience in Lubricants manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience is desired with process optimization and strong trouble shooting skills, production planning, project management, and preventative maintenance programs. Statistical training or Six Sigma preferred

5. Role Specific
- Organize and manage the burning process resources;
- Estimate the time and resources available, priority and urgency of required clinker volume. Monthly stock count;
- Coordinate the different stages of kiln operation to provide clinker volume at the right time, produce it at optimal cost according to Holcim standards;
- Ensure functioning of equipment according to the sales plan with the required level of quality, quantity, cost, safety and environment, managing unforeseen events in the process;
- Contribute to maintaining equipment in good working condition by complying with the instructions through regular monitoring and updating to the Maintenance department;
- Ensure equipment condition and performance indicators comply with standards, and contribute to continuous improvement as per planned KPIs;
- Assist in preparing clinker production and kiln operation plans;
- Administrate and validate all measures that are accountable for down time, productivity and stock through discussion and reports;
- Ensure execution of refractory, stock level, installation and plan the annual stoppage;
- Oversee smooth operation by discussing and approving daily activities and shift schedules;
- Review and analyze all clinker operation parameters and reports to ensure optimum equipment utilization and adherence to quality standards and budget compliance with plan.
