**This is a fully remote position with no requirement to go into an office on a regular basis. There will be travel requirements associated with this position to visit clients onsite up to 25% - 50% of the time.**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Partner with Customers: Collaborate closely with customer stakeholders to understand their business goals, identify high-impact use cases, and define technical requirements for AI solutions.
+ Build & Deploy AI Solutions: Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions using the DataRobot platform and open-source tools. This includes:
+ Agentic AI: Developing and deploying agents on DataRobot leveraging common frameworks such as Langgraph, CrewAI, Llama Index
+ Generative AI: Building custom GenAI chatbots, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
+ Predictive AI: Developing and deploying classic machine learning models for use cases like forecasting, churn prediction, and fraud detection.
+ Serve as a Technical Expert: Act as a subject matter expert on the DataRobot platform and modern AI/ML development, guiding customers on best practices for MLOps, model governance, and scaling AI initiatives.
+ Deliver Value: Ensure that the solutions you build are robust, scalable, and directly contribute to the customer's business objectives.
+ Communicate & Collaborate: Clearly communicate complex technical concepts and project outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences, from data scientists to C-level executives.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** **:**
**AI & Machine Learning Expertise:**
+ Strong proficiency in Python and common data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, etc.).
+ Practical experience with Generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), vector databases,
+ Solid understanding of the end-to-end agentic AI lifecycle from building agents in frameworks like LangGraph or CrewAI, to at scale deployment and monitoring.
**Application Development & Operations:**
+ Demonstrable experience developing and deploying applications, including building REST APIs (e.g., using Flask, FastAPI) to serve ML models and GenAI logic.
+ Proficiency with containerization using Docker and experience deploying and managing applications on container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (K8s).
+ Solid understanding of secure application development practices, including authentication/authorization (e.g., OAuth, API keys), secrets management, and securing public-facing endpoints.
+ Customer Focus: Experience in a client-facing or consulting role with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be comfortable leading technical discussions and presenting to diverse audiences.
+ Problem-Solving Mindset: A deep curiosity and a passion for solving complex, unstructured problems.
**Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Experience: Approximately 6-8 years of hands-on experience in AI Application development, software engineering, machine learning engineering, or a similar role with a proven track record of deploying AI solutions or applications into production.
+ Education: A Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
+ Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
+ DataRobot Experience: Familiarity with the DataRobot AI Platform is a strong plus.
+ MLOps Knowledge: Understanding of MLOps principles and tools for model CI/CD, monitoring, and governance.
+ Fluency in English and Arabic
+ Willingness to travel onsite with clients up to 40% of the time

The Resident Engineer and Project Manager is a hybrid role that combines deep technical expertise with strategic customer engagement. - Utilize Extreme's SFDC reporting capabilities for product trend analysis for early awareness of issues.
- Provide on-site or remote presence during critical or high-visibility engagements, project managing account recovery activities while delivering the appropriate ongoing status and postmortem documentation.
- Work with and provide daily guidance as needed to Extreme GTAC and HW/SW engineers assigned to work issues reported by the assigned customer base.
- Respond promptly to customer needs, providing value added services where applicable.
- Support the PSM to accurate documentation of customer's Extreme network, and associated information is current and available for customer support to access and streamline the issue resolution process.
- Monitor, review and track all support cases. Maintain tracking documents and monitor for negative trends taking appropriate actions such as notification/engagement of technical support management team and product quality.
- Provide proactive administration of the customers' environment: Review cases and conduct early trend indicator analysis, review logs, Field Notices, EOL, EOS, etc.
- Proactively engage customer requirements relating to product enhancements that would improve product serviceability and usability. Represent/present the customer requirement to the appropriate Engineering organization to ensure clear understanding and implementation of approved enhancements.
- Demo and provide on-going training and assistance on our Extreme Platform ONE software package.
- Work closely with the customer to ensure customer satisfaction of all professional services account engagements.
- Support the sales team on pre-sales activities such as customer escalations/troubleshooting, customer demonstrations, lab set-up, training/knowledge transfer, sales calls - travel when essential.
- Proactively engage the sales team to create awareness of new product and solution offerings and first-hand account knowledge of future customer growth requirements.
- Support post sales services engagements such as installations and assessments.
- Develop relationships with customers where new product services can be suggested and accordingly passed along to the sales team for potential new sales opportunities.
- Mentor and coach co-workers and peers. Share valuable knowledge openly.
- Develop and maintain Extreme customer operation procedures documentation.
- Maintains current industry trends, competition, and technical and product knowledge with respect to its value to Extreme customers.

An experienced programme manager, you will assume end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of complex programmes at scale, proactively identifying and managing both business and technical risks, resolving issues, escalating when appropriate, and driving projects to successful completion, while exceeding customer expectations.
In this role you will combine domain understanding of the energy industry, programme delivery and the technical understanding to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions for our customers. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating technical discussions and ensuring alignment back to customer outcomes and value drivers. Applying AWS frameworks and mechanisms such as Working Backwards, Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework while demonstrating business and technical credibility across diverse stakeholders, you will help our delivery teams to distill customer needs into clear technical requirements, decompose complex problems, and make informed trade-off decisions considering performance, scalability, security, and business impact.

Key job responsibilities
As an Engagement Manager (Business Transformation, Energy Supply Chain) in our Energy & Utilities practice, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and delivering business transformation programmes and projects using digital technology on the AWS Cloud
- Leading supply chain conversations within Energy customers to identify opportunities to transform end to end business processes of our customers
- Supporting the business to think about their problems in an Amazonian and innovative way driving business outcomes
- Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of supply chain, the energy industry and AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
- Leading complex team of customer, AWS and partners
- Building deep strategic relationships with senior business and technical customers and acting as a trusted advisor within the supply chain function
- Mentoring and developing project team members within the supply chain function, across the energy domain and to better delivery complex transformation initiatives.
- Partnering with ProServe Sales in identifying future supply chain roadmaps and accelerating customer innovation to increase business value through cloud adoption.

Basic Qualifications
- Master's degree in business, an Engineering field (preferably related to Energy Management) or Computer Science
- 5-10 years' experience across Energy, Supply Chain and Digital Solutions/Cloud development
- Extensive experience of managing complex multi-year projects or multi-stream programmes that have a large-scale business transformation impact and proven realisation of business benefits
