Profile:
- Develop designs within the design team together with the Senior Architect to support the Studio Lead
- Perform work on all phases including concept design, design development and construction documents

Role and Responsibilities
Working closely with the Director and Senior Associates, the Project Architect will lead and deliver project documentation, coordination, and management across all stages of small to large-scale mixed-use and residential projects in Dubai. The role requires recognized technical expertise in planning, construction, building codes, and local regulatory compliance. The Project Architect will oversee projects collaboratively with the project team and external stakeholders, ensuring adherence to design intent, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
He/She will be required to:
· Be able to manage the project either single handed or within team environment.
· Must understand the entire process thoroughly beginning to end.
· Act as Project Leader, working closely with Director, Senior Management, and the project team.
· Oversee technical project development throughout the project lifecycle, including meetings with clients and consultants.
· Provide updates to the Director and Senior Associates on project progress, design development, and deliverables.
· Manage consultant contracts, administration, and client liaison effectively.
· Supervise the preparation of design and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with quality standards and design intent.
· Review and provide expert guidance on technical designs, specifications, reports, and change orders

· Perform independent investigations and architectural analyses, reviewing calculations, estimates, and reports.
· Prepare, develop, and seal construction documentation, including design modifications.
· Represent the firm in meetings with authorities, consultants, and statutory bodies
· Participate in coordination meetings, resolve technical issues, and ensure schedule compliance
· Attend site reviews, on-site meetings, and project meetings, documenting observations and ensuring schedule adherence.
· Prepare workflows for the project team and report performance and productivity to Senior Associates or Office Manager.
· Ensure quality control and quality assurance across all projects, guaranteeing timely delivery.

Key requirement
· Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Dubai's development and construction sector
· Strong knowledge and understanding of Dubai's design, regulatory, and development approval processes, including authority submissions and final project approvals
· Proven ability to independently manage projects from concept to completion
· In-depth knowledge of rules, codes, and regulations issued by Dubai Municipality, Development Authorities (DA), and other statutory bodies.

Project Architect
, who will be based in Dubai.
The
Project Architect
develops the drawings of the "Conceptual Architect" broad-brush designs into a detailed design, ensuring the building is fully buildable from a technical perspective in accordance with the concept architect's vision (and that of the client).
Activities
:
- Defining, planning and managing the development of a construction project.
- Site surveys.
- Producing documentation for statutory approvals: creating a set of construction drawings for the contractor and local authority which satisfy building regulations in terms of constructability, thermal, fire, acoustic and public health criteria and so on. This includes detailed plans, sections, elevations, floor/wall/roof construction and other drawings that allow construction of the building.
- Management and coordination of the detailed design process, specifications and materials selection: writing specifications to integrate drawings; this will include requirements for materials, site procedures and construction technique and so on.
- Liaising with the local authority/building control officer before, during and after construction has been completed.
- Applying building science and technology to architectural and construction projects: coordinating input from the client, contractor and other outside consultants such as the structural engineer, quantity surveyor, services engineer, landscape architect, acoustic consultant, local authority and others.
- Verifying and Ensuring compliance with requirements: maintaining quality control by visiting the site during construction or ensuring there is a continual on-site presence if warranted by the project.
- Compiling a list of minor defects or omissions at completion ('snagging') for the contractor to rectify.
- Depending on the size of the practice, the project architect may employ a team of supporting architects, in-house architectural technicians (technologists), interns, model-makers and other professionals to progress the design.
Their role might include also:

Skills:
- Degree in Architecture or Building Engineering.
