Job DescriptionAs a Design Manager, you will oversee the design delivery of major SCADA projects for water networks, rail systems, and ITS work. This includes managing discipline-specific staffing requirements, monitoring quality and progress, and collaborating with project managers to address issues related to staffing, work quality, schedule adherence, or productivity.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and approving discipline staffing budget estimates and assignment schedules, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, and coordinating engineering and design efforts across all disciplines. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing standards and procedures manuals, recommending improvements to departmental procedures, and supporting pre-contract and business development activities as needed.
