Job Description
To lead a project to meet its objectives in terms of cost, schedule and business planning, the ideal candidate will oversee performance monitoring with structured project management controls ensuring timely completion.
Responsibilities
Project Management
- Maintain compliance with established procedures and processes for project services and controls.
- Lead and direct the work of a team, implementing project activities related to business planning and budget preparation.
- Serve as a focal point for project assessments, evaluations and performance including reviews by shareholders and other agencies.
- Direct the preparation of management and project reports and presentations.
- Maintain close liaison with project team members including engineering, construction and quality.
- Guide the development and implementation of project procedures and systems.
- Conduct briefing sessions for project team members on project services requirements and processes.
- Lead the risk management process and ensure the project issues / risk register is up to date.
EPC Contract Management
- Ensure that EPC contractor's activities are managed according to company guidelines and contract requirements.
- Provide advice to ensure ADNOC Offshore's and the project's objectives are achieved.
Cost and Schedule Controls
- Finalize the cost and schedule estimate confidence package, weighting project risks properly.
- Provide pointed cost and schedule information to support project decisions.
- Monitor and coordinate reporting of cost and schedule impact of changes.
- Direct all financial reporting for the project including accrual reports and cash calls.
Contract and Procurement
- Direct the preparation of all related tender and procurement activities.
- Manage tender evaluations through to award.
- Support the Project manager and IPMT on contract administration issues.
Organization and Staffing
- Direct the development of the IPMT organizational plan and staffing.
- Oversee and coordinate IPMT administrative staff and office support activities.
Information Management
- Ensure that contractors deliver on information management requirements.
- Follow document control procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum twenty years' broad experience in project phases (engineering, procurement and construction).
- Minimum five years as a Business Manager supervising teams of eight individuals or more.
- Worldwide experience with contractors and vendors involved in module construction and onshore facilities.

Qualifications for the role- You are highly skilled in ABB 800xA/Symphony Plus (S+), PMS/SCMS or ICSS systems and have experience working with automation solutions in the Oil & Gas and Power & Water sectors
- You are proficient in interface configuration using industrial protocols like IEC 61850, Modbus, Profibus, OPC, IEC 101, IEC 104, Profibus, between ABB automation systems and third-party systems or field devices as applicable
- You have over 5 years of experience in the automation field, working as a PMS/SCMS or ICSS Engineer with ABB control systems and industrial communication protocols
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of ABB 800xA with AC 800M, Symphony Plus, and industrial networking and cybersecurity solutions for control systems
- You are passionate about customer collaboration and problem solving, and have good communication skills
- Degree in Engineering with demonstrated expertise in automation systems and process applications across the Oil & Gas and Power & Water industries
- You are at ease communicating in English with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders
- You hold current certifications and are proficient in tools like ABB PCM600 and Relion Series relays (for PMS/SCMS), or certified as a TUV Functional Safety Engineer (for ICSS), where applicable
- You are engaged in engineering design, configuration, and integration of ABB PMS/SCMS/ICSS solutions in both onshore and offshore project environments

This Position reports to:
Automation Engineering Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.
You will serve as the technical lead for engineering activities in assignments classified as low to medium engineering complexity, with a specialization in Power Management Systems (PMS), Substation Control and Monitoring Systems (SCMS), or Process Control and/or Safety Systems using ABB 800xA, Symphony Plus (S+), or other ABB Control Systems. You will ensure project execution meets contractual specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. In addition to delivering excellent customer service, you will collaborate closely with customers and ABB teams to identify and pursue new service business opportunities.

As a Clinical Project Lead, you will oversee the full lifecycle of clinical trials, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery while serving as the main point of contact for sponsors, sites, and internal stakeholders. The role involves managing all aspects of study execution including regulatory submissions, site operations, vendor management and project milestones, while driving collaboration across all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary liaison between Sponsor, sites, and internal teams.
- Manage EC/RA submissions and compliance with regulatory timelines.
- Oversee study milestones, progress tracking, and reporting.
- Conduct co-monitoring visits with CRAs, support CRA performance and ensure monitoring report quality.
- Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and third-party vendors.
- Lead the development, review and approval of essential project documents.
- Manage Investigator Meetings, contracts, and logistics.
- Supervise team members, provide feedback, and support business development.
- Ensure adherence to ICH-GCP and company SOPs.
- Serve as Project Manager for smaller-scale trials.
- Bachelor s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of clinical research experience; including 5+ interventional CTs.
- Experience with Phases I-IV trials and prior CRO/sponsor background preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of ICH-GCP, FDA, and CTA processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English and MS Office; valid driver s license.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
