Technical Support
- Assist in the invoicing and receiving the payment from the client in coordination with the commercial team.
- Assist in analyzing the cost and time impact of owner and engineer comments during project execution, providing the senior management with clear reports to inform final decisions.
- Act as a check‑point the design, engineering, and quality of the works to be as per the contract and client’s satisfaction.
- Comply with internal and international rules (INCOTERMS), fundamentals of supply chain, and the local standards and local laws of the country which directly affects the customer, suppliers and partners.
- Oversee regular financial control and reporting to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards for site operations.
- Identify and assess additional scope requirements, communicate their impacts to the Project Manager, and implement necessary changes through change notices, red markup drawings, illustrations, presentations to ensure project continuity and alignment with objectives.
Project Execution
- Enforce project plan and escalates major technical issues with the consultant engineer when required under the guidance of the project manager.
- Facilitate project handover and oversee the decommissioning of teams and infrastructure in alignment with directives from the Project Manager and the HOD (Engineering).
- Participate in regular project status meetings to ensure alignment and progress tracking of milestones.
- Assure product quality by coordinating with respective manufacturers/vendors for designing electrical equipment as per contract scope & technical specifications.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and sub‑contractors; participating in technical discussions; obtaining approvals in a timely manner as requested by the Project Manager.
- Assist in the project completion with Energization as well as final project handover.
- Undertake additional tasks or responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by the HOD (Engineering), within the scope or works.
Research & Development
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in transmission and distribution technologies and sustainable energy solutions.
- Contribute to R&D efforts in grid optimization, energy storage integration, and renewable energy solutions.
Field Work
- Liaise with the resident HSE personnel on site to ensure that consultant engineer and the Company’s HSE policies are implemented in accordance with the approved HSE plan by the client.
- Set necessary measures to ensure zero harm policy in environment, health and safety.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance throughout the project execution phase.
- Monitor and control the progress against the planned schedule for the entire project works.
- Co‑ordination and preparation of red‑marks and As‑built drawing and documents.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and IT, to ensure seamless coordination.
- Supervise the coordination of all site activities: erection; testing; commissioning after the equipment is delivered to site.
- Informs the management, customers, and the project team of deviations from project plan if any.
- Coordinate with the testing team and consultants to prepare the testing schedule and testing activities.
Reporting
- Prepare both weekly and monthly reports that include status of progress, issues in QCD, and invoicing to the client, and receipt of payments from the O/E according to an agreed report format in co‑ordination with the project manager.
- Prepare and develop technical findings, project site updates, and comprehensive reports to senior engineers and stakeholders through reports and presentation as advised by the Group Engineering Manager and HOD (Engineering).

- Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in 400 KV GIS projects substation projects, out of which 5+ years of experience as a Site Manager from the energy & power industry in the UAE.
- Successful project completion with project valuing $20 million USD or above.
- Execute the project as per plan, Maintain HSEQ requirements and assist in project cash flow.
- The ability to explain basic design ideas and plans clearly to the Clients, Project consultants, Engineers Office, Vendors, and Subordinates.
- Having overall responsibility on project results including risks, opportunities and claims.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to present basic, technical information to a wide audience.
- High competence in technical writing, systems development and utilization.
