Under the leadership of the project manager on site, take full responsibility of the architectural aspects of the assigned project(s) ensuring that all works are carried out as per the approved design, in line with contract and to relevant international standards - delivered on time and to full satisfaction of the clients.
Line and Staff RelationsThe Site Architect will report into the Project Manager on-site on a daily basis and to the Head of Practice – Building Design in the design office at an organizational level.
- ARTELIA AIRPORTS staff:
- team of Architects, Inspectors and BIM technicians in the site office.
- Internal / External collaborators:
- Engineers of different trades within the site supervision team as well as with Architects and Engineers in the design office.
- With authorized contractors representatives assigned for the projects in the most professional manner ensuring all meeting are minuted and all exchanges are adequately documented.
- Assist the site supervision team in the successful delivery of the project.
- Responsible to ensure the design meets all relevant international codes and standards required for the project.
- Ensuring that all project deliverables (drawings, specifications etc) are fully coordinated from a contractual point of view.
- Shop drawings submitted by contractors are reviewed in line with the contract drawings and specification to ensure they fully meet the design intent. Shop drawings are to be coded as per the agreed procedure and returned within the agreed timeline.
- Material submissions submitted by contractors are reviewed in line with the contract drawings and specification to ensure they fully meet the design intent. Material submissions are to be coded as per the agreed procedure and returned within the agreed time.
- All information requested by the contractor are provided within the contractual obligations and such information is provided within the agreed time.
- Coordinate with the design office for any discrepancies in the contract document and ensure that the responses provided to the contractor are in line with the design intent.
- Act as the project’s design coordinator and contribute (fully or partially) to the overall design management activities.
- Participation in meetings, recording of minutes and reporting.
- Take initiatives to develop lesson learned documents, design manuals, standard design documents, presentations, etc. so as to increase efficiencies, knowledge and awareness across the wider architectural community.
- Ensure all meetings with contractors, clients representatives or external sub-consultants/ sub-contractors are properly minuted and the minutes are dispatched within the agreed timeline.
- All correspondence on site are done according to the Company standards on approved templates and all relevant documentation are maintained for all exchanges with the contractor.
- Ensure that minutes are prepared and dispatched for multidisciplinary internal coordination meeting.
- Coordinate work on site within all disciplines and ensure that the design is fully coordinated.
- Coordinate work with all external agencies involved including stakeholders and sub-consultants and all approving agencies/authoritative.
- Ensure that all coordination works are planned as per the program and tracked to ensure that all deliverable are received on time.
- Participate with Project Manager in resource allocation and ensure that allocated resources are utilized effectively to meets all project deadlines.
- Communicate to the team all aspects of the project clearly to ensure that the team is fully aware of the project at all times.
- Ensure the supervision team is motivated at all times.
- 5-10 years of total site experience with a minimum of 3 years on Airport projects.
- Bachelor of Architecture / MArch Degree
- UAE Society of Engineers membership
- Abu Dhabi Engineering license
- International Accreditation (RIBA, AIA or equivalent) and Sustainability Certification (LEED, PQP or equivalent) is preferred
- Full knowledge of Statutory Authorities requirements,
- Full knowledge of international codes and standards , regulations and submission requirements
- Developed knowledge of Fire & Life Safety Principles and Sustainable Design principles.
- Strong proficiency in Autocad and BIM (revit) skill
- Excellent organizational, communication and people orientation competencies.

-Preparation and review of HSE Plans, risk assessment, HSE procedures, audit plan

-Review HSE Plan, Procedure, Method Statement, Risk assessment & all Health, Safety & Environment related documentation to ensure compliance with established standards.
-Implement improvement & prohibition notice to contractors set up recommendation & corrective action with the close out date follow up the same
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum 12 years of vivid experience in HSE domain in construction related operations with Consultant firms in UAE and ME.
- Level 06 Diploma or above in OSH
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
- Experience letters from employers are mandatory as evidence of work experience in HSE domain.

Qualifications And Technical Competencies
- Experience in working with both consultants/contractors is preferable.
- Technically capable of producing and managing LOD 300, 400 & 500 BIM models.

- Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.
- Must have solid understanding CDE platforms like BIM 360/ProjectWise, ACC.
- Monitor and support the data collection process and validate Asset Information Model (AIM) with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) requirements for eg. Construction Operation Building Information Exchange (COBIE) and/or client specific requirements.
- Ensure Project Information Model (PIM) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol.
- Collaborate and coordinate with the Project manager design-changes and model challenges.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to support the in-house architectural, general engineering, and civil design discipline teams with day-to-day and long-term duties, tasks, and training
- Understanding of Dynamo BIM is necessary.
- Technically capable of handling point cloud data.

Stantec is currently looking for a BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic site team and support on a construction supervision project.
Qualifications And Technical Competencies
• Experience in working with both consultants/contractors is preferable.
• Technically capable of producing and managing LOD 300, 400 & 500 BIM models.
• Will ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM modelling and the collaboration and coordination with other disciplines for design-changes and model challenges.
• Monitor and validate As-Built model tagging with all related project documents e.g. The H&S file(s) and O&M manual(s) etc.
• Manage federated model setups for interdisciplinary review and clash resolution.
• Perform clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution using advanced BIM software and tools.
• Implement BIM execution plans, workflows, protocols, and quality control measures for each project in line with the stakeholders BIR.
• Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders to align BIM deliverables with project requirements and expectations.
• Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings to resolve clashes and ensure model accuracy.
• Prepare own discipline model and/or content for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
• Support project Manager in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.
• Support contractor BIM team with planning and construction activities with proposed 4D sequencing model(s) review and progress reporting.
• Provide progress and performance updates to project manager on fortnightly and monthly basis.
• Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.
• Must have solid understanding CDE platforms like BIM 360/ProjectWise, ACC.
• Monitor and support the data collection process and validate Asset Information Model (AIM) with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) requirements for eg. Construction Operation Building Information Exchange (COBIE) and/or client specific requirements.
• Ensure Project Information Model (PIM) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol.
• Collaborate and coordinate with the Project manager design-changes and model challenges.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to support the in-house architectural, general engineering, and civil design discipline teams with day-to-day and long-term duties, tasks, and training
• Understanding of Dynamo BIM is necessary.
• Technically capable of handling point cloud data.
Qualifications:
Experience (essential)
• A degree, ideally in Architecture, Structure, Mechanical or equivalent
• A minimum of 10 years BIM experience
• Proven building project experience.
• Manage / Update BIM Project Documents.
• 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification.
• 4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks and experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
• Experience working in a Design Consultancy and / or Contractor.
• Extensive experience in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD, Civil 3D
• Advance understanding of creating Revit families.
