Job Title: Project Supervisor
As a project supervisor, you will lead the delivery of construction supervision projects and act as the main point of contact advising on all engineering matters.
- Lead the delivery (time cost quality) of assigned package ensuring milestones are met.
- Supervise and manage contractors to ensure works are constructed as per specification.
- Direct supervision team to undertake day-to-day inspections of the works maintaining a high level of safety awareness.
- Resolve site issues on-site and present progress and package issues to clients.
- Negotiate changes to the scope of work with clients and key subcontractors.
- Follow up on instructions & commitments associated with the project establishing project execution plans health & safety plans quality control plans and other documents.
- Establish program requirements for all areas of the project and monitor site staff performance assigning responsibility to subordinates in their respective fields of expertise.
- Provide input to performance reviews and develop plans for subordinates establishing internal weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items.
- Represent the company in client meetings performing various engineering works and project/construction management for the project in roads construction relevant reviewing and checking technical deliverables reviewing construction programmes specifications and cost estimates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering field.
- Engineering charter ship advantageous Dubai Authorities understanding advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum 20 years post graduate experience in design site supervision of projects with a broad general engineering background.
- UAE experience required especially in UAE STP experience is required.

Job Overview
The Assistant Resident Engineer will be involved in working on projects associated with stormwater and drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks, and water distribution networks.
This role will involve undertaking investigations, pipeline valves, rising main construction supervision, and monitoring of design and infrastructure work.
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Resident Engineer in administering the operational functions of the day-to-day activities on the project with respect to construction works.
- Interacting with contractors, sub-contractors, and laboratories & monitoring construction work on a daily basis.
- Coordinate with various government departments, contractors, consultants, and the public to facilitate progress and avoid delays.
- Coordinate his direct activities with the other engineers and members of the construction supervision team.
- Maintain logs of project progress, handing-over, and final accounts.
- Arrange progress meetings for various government/Interface authorities representatives, minute them, and distribute the records as required.
- Chair the meetings with the government/Interface agencies and any other meetings delegated by the Resident Engineer.
- Assist the Resident Engineer in reviewing shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, and other activities including correspondence related to the project work and prepare replies for the review of the Resident Engineer.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare instructions, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with the contractor engineers on scheduling and application of resources.
- Direct, assist, and monitor the performance of the inspectors and surveyors as applicable.
- Review and approve design documents and construction plans and procedures.
- Prepare/Assist in the preparation of Weekly and Monthly progress reports.
- Keep necessary records and as-built records and take charge of the handing over of the project to the respective service authorities and assist the contractor to obtain necessary final clearance.
- Identifying non-conforming works, generating reports and corrective actions, and coordinating responses.

- Experience in utility diversions and management.
- Safety and Compliance
- Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.
