The Project Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects across the organization. This specialist provides support to the project management office in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* IT Finance & Budget Management: Ensure alignment of IT project budgets (CAPEX & OPEX) with approved allocations. Monitor spending, identify cost variances, and highlight financial risks or deviations.* Project Coordination (PMO Support): Assist the PMO in planning, scheduling, and coordinating IT projects. Maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, progress reports, risks, and action items.* Governance & Compliance Support: Ensure all financial and project documentation complies with internal IT governance requirements. Help enforce project control standards and assist in audit preparedness for IT initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, IT, or a related field. Min 5 years of experience in project coordination, finance support, or IT governance roles. Solid understanding of budgeting, financial tracking, and procurement workflows. Experience with governance and compliance frameworks within a corporate setting is an advantage. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and general project tracking tools. Good communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Legal, Procurement).

Responsible for building annual account plan which includes growth bridge and action plans specific to assigned accounts globally and/or within assigned regions.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Register project requests and evaluate technical scopes to confirm client requirements after discussing with the team.
- Prepare quotation requests along with suitable CVs and send them to offices or contractors in various countries.
- Verify CVs and rates according to contracts and prepare CVs for client submission.
- Prepare proposals along with selected CVs/documents for client/end-user submission.
- Update project registers.
- Follow up with clients and end-users for further acceptance and interview scheduling.
- Coordinate between inspectors/offices (IC/SC) for further processes.
- Submit coordination between inspectors/coordinators for project-related inspection schedules and reporting.

Job Description:
The Medical Insurance System IT Project and Support Specialist is responsible for managing, implementing, and supporting IT systems and projects related to medical insurance. The Medical Insurance System IT Project and Support Specialist will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of medical insurance software systems. This role requires a blend of project management, technical support, and a deep understanding of medical insurance processes to ensure seamless integration and functionality of insurance systems. He will ensure the systems meet the needs of the organization and comply with regulatory standards.
What you will do
- MIS Management:
- Design, develop, and maintain management information systems that support organizational goals.
- Ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of MIS applications.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
- Develop user manuals and provide training to staff on MIS applications.
- Data Analytics:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Use statistical tools and techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Conduct data validation and ensure data quality.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into business performance.
- Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and relevant.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and support data-driven decision-making.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure effective communication and project execution.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to provide data insights and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within MIS and data analytics functions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and MIS.
- Implement new tools and technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities
Required skills to be successful:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on medical insurance systems or healthcare IT.
- Strong experience in system implementation, technical support, and managing vendor relationships.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in the Insurance sector
What equips you for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and databases (e.g., ORACLE SQL/ PLSQL ).
