Position Summary

The Mental Health Technician is an incredible opportunity to expand your role in health care through functioning as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary treatment team. Responsibilities

  • You will assist with maintaining a safe and hazard free environment by observing and documenting patient behavior, conducting patient room searches, reporting unsafe conditions and applying appropriate emotional and physical support

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or any other human services field preferred and/or in lieu of education, will take 1 year of experience.
Must be eligible to obtain a Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor; apply within 30 days and have from DOH within 90 days.
A current BLS certification
Must obtain a Nursing Assistant Registered or CNA prior to start date
If assigned to Navos Hospital, First Aid training required prior to start day.
Food Handler's Card is required within first two weeks of hire date.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

  • Depending on assigned area, BLS may be required
