Job Description

As a Quality Manager of 145 and CAMO for Fujairah Aviation Academy and CAMO of FJR Private Flight, you shall report to the General Manager for the following duties:

  1. The Quality Assurance is responsible for establishing and maintaining an independent quality system to monitor compliance with GCAA requirements.
  2. He is responsible for the development and implementation of a quality audit program in which compliance with all maintenance procedures is reviewed at regular intervals, in relation to each type of aircraft (or component) maintained. Any observed non-compliances or poor standards will be brought to the attention of the person concerned via his manager.
  3. The Quality Assurance has direct access to the Accountable Manager in the event of any reported discrepancy not being adequately attended to by the relevant person, or in respect of any disagreement over the nature of a discrepancy.
  4. With specific reference to the CAR 145 approval, the Quality Assurance is responsible for:
    1. Assessing sub-contractors for extension of the quality system, and maintaining the expertise necessary to be able to do so, to the satisfaction of GCAA.
    2. Assessing external specialist services required to be used by the company in the performance of maintenance.
    3. Assessing suppliers of new and used components, and materials, for satisfactory product quality in relation to the needs of the FujAA AMO.
    4. Preparing standard practices and procedures for use within the organization, derived from approved sources, and keeping them up to date.
    5. Coordinating all communications with GCAA.
    6. Responsible for ensuring that staff records are raised and maintained as required by CAR 145 in support of staff authorized to issue all levels of certification. This will include ensuring the competence of Company personnel involved in maintenance and that they are appropriately trained for their certifying responsibilities including recurrent training.
    7. Controlling the issue or withdrawal of approval of certifying staff and maintaining a register of personnel qualifications and terms of inspection authorization as required by CAR 145.
  5. Acting as the organization’s primary contact with the GCAA. He may deal directly with the GCAA on any matter concerning the Company CAR 145 Approval.
  6. Carrying out external audits for all academy subcontractors.
JOB REQUIREMENT

• Engineering Degree and / or AME Diploma
• AME License or ICAO Type – II Basic License is preferable.
• GCAA Post holder approval, in the past, is preferable.
• Minimum 10 Years of Aviation Experience in AMO/CAMO including 05 years relevant experience of which at least 02 years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position/managerial post.

The Role
The System Assurance Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all System Assurance activities across the project lifecycle to ensure that the railway systems meet the required safety, reliability, availability, maintainability, and security (RAMS) standards. Key Accountabilities / Key Job Responsibilities

  • The Safety and Assurance Manager is responsible for all aspects of Safety Assurance within their designated contract, which includes Health, Safety & Environment, Risk Management, Quality Management, Business Resilience, and Business Ethics.

  • Provide competent advice and guidance on fire and life safety systems and processes, including arranging and supporting fire drills and practices.
  • Develop, implement and maintain emergency response and business continuity plans for the contracts and ensure that mitigation measures and controls are implemented.
  • Assist the General Manager with developing and regularly updating the risk register on Risk Manager software.
  • Oversee the management of contractors, including oversight of the permit to work system, review and comment on specialist service provider risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe operations by contractors.
  • Carry out accident and incident investigations and recommend actions to prevent future occurrences; ensuring lessons learnt are implemented across the contract.
  • Facilitate the safety committee, organise meetings and supporting information, provide recommendations for enhancements or changes to the systems and follow up on actions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and liaise with third parties and external agencies to enhance ideas and share learning.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of all data provided, including performance, financial, and customer information, in line with the company’s confidentiality and data protection policies.
  • Provide help and assistance to other contracts as required, within the scope of the individual’s competency and experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Holder of a degree-level qualification or NEBOSH Diploma or similar OSH qualification.
  • Holder of NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management or similar.

Essential Technical, Professional Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Solid understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and ISO 45001 and internal auditing.

The Quality Assurance (QA) and Control Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of QA activities for a large-scale SAP ERP set up. This role ensures that SAP-Center of Expertise meet internal quality standards, industry best practices, and business requirements.   • Define and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy and plan specific to the service management (defects/ incident management, and related interfaces), specification and development of new functionality, project management, and operations.
  • Develop and enforce quality standards, testing protocols, and documentation procedures across SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
  • Conduct quality gate reviews on SAP-CoE projects.
  • Monitor deliverables from SAP consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure they meet agreed-upon quality criteria.
  • Provide input reviewing the testing procedures and development and execution of testing strategies including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.

Your background

Contractair by Resource Group are proud to be partnered with one of the UAE’s most high profile clients. We have a rare opportunity for a nominated Post Holder to join a small, well-established team on a permanent basis, located in the United Arab Emirates.

Candidate profile:

  • Previous experience in a Post Holder role with Part-145/CAMO responsibilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCAA and/or EASA regulations
  • Strong understanding of audit processes and quality systems in aircraft operations and maintenance
  • Previous experience with Flight Ops responsibilities desirable
  • Previous experience as a QA Post Holder is advantageous but not essential
  • Native English speaker
  • Upper age limit of 55
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work well within a small team

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the compliance of all quality-related activities in accordance with GCAA regulations and the highest of company standards. The ideal candidate will have proven extensive experience in continuing airworthiness management and maintenance, with a strong focus on quality assurance and compliance. Experience with Flight Operations is advantageous.

Job Description

Masdar is rapidly growing in the projects space and as such the PMO team is currently seeking an experienced Senior Manager Project Quality Assurance to be based in our Abu Dhabi office HQ.

As the Quality expert you will ensure the quality of the assigned projects throughout the construction and commissioning phases. This includes monitoring and controlling quality control plans conducting inspections and resolving quality issues furthermore to work with project stakeholders to ensure that the project meets all quality requirements.

Responsibilities not limited to:

  • Develop a detailed standard projects quality assurance procedures plans and guidelines.
  • Monitor and control quality management plans for the all ongoing projects.
  • Conduct routine inspections of projects to ensure compliance with quality standards and resolve quality issues and defects.
  • Work with all project stakeholders to ensure that the project meets all quality requirements.
  • Ensure document quality assurance and control activities and maintain quality records and reports for all projects.
  • Provide guidance and support to the project team on any related quality assurance aspects
  • Ensure that all relevant reports are completed in a comprehensive accurate and timely manner and comply with international principles of corporate governance and standards and shareholder requirements.
  • Support Quality Health and Safety Environment (QHSE) activities policies and objectives of Masdar and compliance with the laws and regulations of the country where the projects are located.

Qualifications :

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in quality engineering or related discipline
  • Masters degree is a plus

Preferred Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience in the quality field and a proven track record in managing the refinement and implementation of quality standards.
  • Solid experience in a similar role as Quality Manager.
  • Project EPC experience is essential
