The candidate shall be the focal point for all quality-related issues for the company.
Position Purpose:The position will be responsible for managing all aspects of quality for Velath's manufacturing operations. This includes the preparation of detailed specifications, procedures, sub-vendor evaluations, sub-vendor management, intra-department process documentation management, support for quality-related issues during and post-bids, management of communication with ASME and ASME-related entities, and all other activities related to quality within the environment of an ASME authorized fabrication facility.
Requirements:- Must have handled on-site constructed Tank Farm Projects in a managerial position.
- Must have participated as the focal point in at least two ASME Joint audits.
- Should have sound knowledge of manufacturing of pressure vessels, process equipment, tanks, heat exchangers, structures, etc.
- Sound knowledge of metallurgy of various carbon steel (CS), stainless steel (SS), and clad materials.
- Sound knowledge of various engineering codes and standards like ASME, API 650 tank, etc.
- Prepare and review sub-part specifications and technical discussions with sub-vendors, including heat treatment and coating.
- Work with the project execution team in a close loop for lessons learned from past projects for updating internal operation procedures.
- Experience with Brownfield Projects.
- Have ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification.

Strong organizational abilities with the capability to manage multiple quote requests simultaneously.
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in an international environment, preferably in a pricing role within the Moving, Transportation, or Freight Forwarding sectors.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with quoting software or CRM systems.
