The candidate shall be the focal point for all quality-related issues for the company.

The position will be responsible for managing all aspects of quality for Velath's manufacturing operations. This includes the preparation of detailed specifications, procedures, sub-vendor evaluations, sub-vendor management, intra-department process documentation management, support for quality-related issues during and post-bids, management of communication with ASME and ASME-related entities, and all other activities related to quality within the environment of an ASME authorized fabrication facility.

• Must have handled on-site constructed Tank Farm Projects in a managerial position.
• Must have participated as the focal point in at least two ASME Joint audits.
• Should have sound knowledge of manufacturing of pressure vessels, process equipment, tanks, heat exchangers, structures, etc.
• Sound knowledge of metallurgy of various carbon steel (CS), stainless steel (SS), and clad materials.
• Sound knowledge of various engineering codes and standards like ASME, API 650 tank, etc.
• Prepare and review sub-part specifications and technical discussions with sub-vendors, including heat treatment and coating.
• Work with the project execution team in a close loop for lessons learned from past projects for updating internal operation procedures.
• Experience with Brownfield Projects.
• Have ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification.

• Assist in monitoring construction projects to identify potential compliance issues.
• Support forensic reviews of procurement and contracting processes.
• Collect, analyze, and organize data related to project performance and risks.

The Quality Control Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and assigning all incoming quote requests to specific quoting coordinators and ensuring the quality of quotes at the end of the process.
Responsibilities:
Review and assign incoming quote requests to appropriate quoting coordinators based on workload, expertise, and availability.
Provide recommendations for service inclusions and exclusions, options for routing, and which vendor/agent to be utilized at the origin and/or destination.
Communicate and collaborate with quoting coordinators to ensure timely completion of quote requests.
Monitor and track the progress of quote requests, ensuring that they are processed within designated timelines.
Collaborate with quoting coordinators to address discrepancies identified during the quality check process
Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement to enhance quoting efficiency and accuracy
Maintain organized records and documentation of quote requests, assignments, and quality check results.
Assist in resolving customer inquiries or concerns related to quotes when necessary.
Stay updated on product knowledge, pricing, and industry trends to support accurate quoting.
Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in business administration or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in a coordination role, preferably within a quoting or sales support function.
Strong organizational abilities with the capability to manage multiple quote requests simultaneously.
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in an international environment, preferably in a pricing role within the Moving, Transportation, or Freight Forwarding sectors.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with quoting software or CRM systems.
Effective communication skills to liaise with quoting coordinators and other stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve discrepancies in quotes.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of industry-specific terminology and products is an advantage.

• Guide the team on identification of quality inspection requirements and checklists to be implemented for verification of Central LPG system for project and operations.
• Review and approve quality inspection program, plan, and schedule inspections for rectification and upgrade.
• Monitor progress of day-to-day quality inspection of the work.
• Assess the outcomes of quality inspection and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate with third-party inspector and supervise inspection activities.
• Review the TPI quality inspection reports for LPG system verification.
• Review submissions and related inspection records.
• Participate in vendor, material, and contractor qualifications.
• Verification of completion of quality checks of inspection prior to issue of NOC.
• Carry out quality audit of work activity of contractors/consultants and TPI’s.

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering – Mechanical.
• Professional Certifications: ISO 9001 (Lead Auditor)/CSWIP/AWS/ASNT Level 2.

• 8 years of experience in oil & gas or similar nature of works including at least 6 years as Quality Engineer in a lead/supervisory role with good oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in quality project implementation, quality inspection, and quality management systems.
• Experience for work in ADNOC Group/Project shall be an added advantage.
• Experience in MS Office applications.
• Good in English/Arabic languages written and spoken.
• Valid UAE driving license.
