We are seeking an experienced Piping / Welding QC Inspector to join our team for ADNOC projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in piping and welding inspections, with proven experience in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review piping ITPs and Method Statements.
- Review and qualify welding procedures, select consumables, and carry out weld failure analysis.
- Conduct inspections in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans.
- Witness PT, MT, and verify that all NDE requirements are met per project specifications.
- Monitor weekly weld repair rates (welder-wise and isometric-wise).
- Inspect joint preparation, configuration, cleanliness, and preheat temperatures as per WPS.
- Perform visual examinations of welded joints.
- Execute line checks, punch work, and witness pressure tests.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial experience, including 6 years in piping/welding inspection (4 years in oil & gas or petrochemical).
- CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI or equivalent certification (approved by COMPANY).
- Diploma in Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Strong knowledge of international codes (ASME, ASTM, API, BS/EN/ISO, etc.).
- Proficient in English; Arabic or Chinese is an advantage.
- Previous ADNOC project experience as a piping/welding QC inspector is preferred.
