We're hiring a Quality Control Specialist to manage product quality across packaging and fragrance supply chains. You'll inspect incoming and outgoing goods, coordinate with suppliers and Product Development, manage samples and SGS inspections, handle non-conformities, and maintain quality documentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, production batches and shipment samples (pumps, collars, caps, bottles, cans, fragrances).
  • Register new products in product-development file/ERP and support item code creation.
  • Coordinate product development steps: review drawings with PDD, obtain supplier quotes, follow technical drawings, manage mock-ups and mold/sample approvals, Check the feasibility with the supplier and advise RM
  • Train the Sales Team on the technical aspects of newly arrived stock items.
  • Prepare and maintain Product Specification Documents (PSD) and test reports; enter results in ERP.
  • Manage first-sample testing, request sample improvements, and approve production release.
  • Register and manage non-conformity claims (NCRs): inspect, report, follow supplier CAPA, and update customers.
  • Coordinate SGS and third-party inspections; validate reports and samples.
  • Maintain a sample library and manage sample logistics (couriers, returns).
  • Train Sales, customers or plant staff on technical handling and product assembly when required.
  • Maintain QC records for audits (ISO/Ecovadis….) and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5 years in quality control in fragrance, cosmetics, packaging, pharmacy or FMCG.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of QC procedures, sampling plans, defect classification, and vendor management.
  • Experience coordinating with suppliers, tooling/mold processes, third-party inspectors (SGS) and ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Experience with décor/printing inspection, decorative glass/aluminum components is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of ISO quality systems and audit participation preferred.

General Purpose Of The Job The Quality Control Specialist educates WTI personnel on the proper use and application of products, providing installation training both on and off the roof.

They oversee large self-performed projects from start to finish, conducting intermittent inspections and performing post-completion inspections of smaller projects.

The QCS will conduct regular job site visits during the project and after project completion.

The goal is to provide consistency nationwide through proper roof repairs and the application of our products.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Ensure proper execution and delivery of all WTI GS and GC self-performed roofing work.

Provide a variety of technical and application training sessions in both field and shop settings.

Provide hands-on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation.

Attend pre-cons on large projects.

Be present at job start-ups to discuss the proper execution of the scope of work.

Visit the projects at specific intervals to assess the completed work and provide any direction or corrective advice.

Perform a pre-final inspection to ensure that the project has a zero-punch list.

Perform final inspections when needed.

Pre-project field inspections and technical support, including but not limited to

Peel tests Product testing Product recommendations Proper product installations Post project completion inspection to ensure quality workmanship and proper utilization and application of materials.

Product diagnostic support to ensure that WTI is kept out of trouble due to misuse of products in the situation.

Conduct roof inspections, providing written reports and photo documentation.

Conduct on-site safety audits to ensure all safety requirements are met and consult with the safety team as needed.

Review and train on large warranty adjustment projects over ten (10) man days.

Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with our Technicians, Foremen, Supervisors, Field Operations Managers, Regional Business Managers, Corporate Staff, and the Sales Team.

Complete daily reports including DTA's, Safety Audits, Truck Audits, and QC Inspection Reports as necessary and applicable.

Complete weekly / monthly activity reports as requested.

Support the region as needed when weather conditions prevent the fulfillment of daily job responsibilities.

Facilitate training in a classroom setting.

All other Quality Control Inspection-related tasks or training as assigned by the manager.

Travel predominantly within the assigned territory and nationally as needed, and complete and submit expense reports on a timely basis.

Experience 5+ years of roofing, roofing repair, troubleshooting, or field service experience.

Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including built-up, modified, single ply, and metal.

Working knowledge of roof coating systems.

Other Skills And Abilities Strong roofing or building science mechanical aptitude.

Prior experience in a field service leadership role.

Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and learning the necessary internal business systems) In-depth technical understanding and extensive hands-on knowledge of the applications of products.

Intimate knowledge of our product line.

This position is an autonomous role and requires self-motivation to manage a high level of independence.

Strong work ethic and ability to multitask.

Experience working with various types of technology and software.

Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • Advise QC Manager of non-conformance occurrences and raise a Non-conformance Report for non-compliant work, and monitor closeout and effectiveness of correction and corrective action undertaken.
  • Assist QC Manager in undertaking periodic audits, including those of sub-contractors and suppliers, particularly technical compliance audits in their field of specialization.
  • Witness all NDT and mechanical testing, including hydro testing, pneumatic testing, etc.
  • Attend and witness Client verification of work (inspection, test, and the like) on site, and coordinate closeout of any and all outstanding issues related to civil works.
  • Assist in preparation of final documents for certification.
  • Assist in systems commissioning as required.
  • Manage site interface with implementation contractor QC personnel, client QC personnel, management of QC inspectors. Knowledgeable in codes and standards, ADNOC specifications, SHELL DEP, familiar with site fabrication, construction activities.
