Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Quality Control Officer to join our BEEAH Abu Dhabi team. This role is responsible for supporting the Quality Management System and Customer Satisfaction initiatives to ensure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine site inspections to monitor service quality and KPI achievement
  • Document observations and non-conformities using standard checklists and forms
  • Report findings to the Quality Manager and follow up on corrective actions
  • Support waste audits, data collection, and classification of waste streams
  • Maintain inspection records, NCRs, and audit documentation
  • Provide on-site guidance and basic quality training to operational staff
  • Ensure adherence to HSE procedures during inspections and audits
  • Use digital tools to prepare and update quality reports
  • Assist with internal audits, management reviews, and quality awareness initiatives

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in any discipline
  • 2 – 3 Years of experience working in Quality Assurance / Quality Control
  • Over 2 years of Experience and technical knowledge in the Waste Management Industry (mainly in Services/ operations).
  • Awareness of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards is required;
  • Internal Auditor certification is preferable.
  • UAE Light Vehicle Driving License is mandatory.

Site Inspector ensures the implementation of all the quality procedures and standards on the Site. They are responsible for performing inspections on subcontractor's activities, assuring conformity to site inspection plans and applicable engineering standards.

Duties and responsibilities
  1. Ensure the implementation of all Quality/HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities, together with the other members of Quality/HSE teams.
  2. Support the Construction Material Controller in checking the Supplier's material prior to the start of works.
  3. Address Subcontractor activities for their discipline, ensuring that Plant Construction works are performed according to the applicable engineering specifications, site procedures, and Site Inspection Plan, following Quality & Safety procedures and subcontract terms.
  4. Check that the manpower employed by the Subcontractor respects the requirements of applicable procedures and the fixed Quality level.
  5. Verify that the equipment used by the Subcontractor is adequate and calibrated as required.
  6. Ensure that the works performed by the Subcontractor conform to applicable documents, safety regulations, and quality standards, in coordination with the Quality/HSE teams.
  7. Inform the Site Engineer to make necessary changes when design errors are detected.
  8. Promote non-conformity drafts and inform the Construction Manager, supporting in non-conformity resolution.

  • Verify incoming materials against MRQ, LPO, and purchase specifications.

  • Carry out stage-wise inspections throughout fabrication processes in line with ITP/QCP and sign off as applicable.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

  • Certifications/Training: CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, or equivalent preferred; NDT Level II in RT, UT, MT, and PT desirable.

Role Overview

This position plays a crucial part in the laboratory team by conducting various quantitative and qualitative tests.

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for collecting samples from the plant using internationally accepted sampling procedures to produce precise data for research studies.
