Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Quality Director to lead quality assurance and control efforts across packaging operations for our clients in perfume and cosmetics industry . The Quality Director will be responsible for maintaining the highest product quality standards ensuring regulatory compliance managing supplier performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role is critical in safeguarding product integrity and enhancing the overall quality framework across all components.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in glass manufacturing and inspection processes a strong grasp of cosmetic packaging standards and a proven track record in supplier management audit leadership and quality system development.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Strategy & Oversight- Develop and implement the overall quality strategy for the different divisions (Glass Pumps Fragrances) aligning with company standards and client expectations.
- Define quality objectives KPIs and compliance goals to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Audit and evaluate manufacturers suppliers across Europe Asia and the Middle East to ensure compliance with specifications and international quality standards.
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues implement corrective actions and foster performance improvement.
- Establish and monitor supplier scorecards and drive accountability across the supply chain.
- Oversee incoming inspection processes and lead root cause analysis (RCA) for defects or nonconformities.
- Approve first article inspections quality protocols and specifications for packaging components.
- Ensure technical documentation drawings tolerances and finishes are properly validated and aligned with regulatory and brand requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients regarding packaging quality concerns claims and audits.
- Manage quality reports CAPAs and complaint resolution processes in collaboration with commercial and technical teams.
- Support client presentations audits and documentation requests related to quality certifications and procedures.
- Ensure all products and processes comply with international standards (e.g. ISO REACH FDA if applicable) and internal quality systems.
- Maintain updated documentation certifications and quality control records in line with industry best practices.
- Build and lead a crossfunctional quality team covering quality control assurance and inspection.
- Provide training mentorship and continuous development to improve quality culture across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Mandatory Expertise:
- Proven experience in quality management for packaging (glass/pump) preferably within the perfume cosmetics or luxury goods sectors.
- Indepth understanding of glass production methods quality control processes and defect identification.
- Minimum of 10 years in quality assurance with at least 5 years in a leadership or directorlevel role.
- Handson experience with supplier audits client complaints handling and compliance with international quality standards.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Material Science Industrial Chemistry or a related technical field.
- Additional certifications in Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001 Six Sigma Lean CQE) are strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills especially in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for supplier and client interactions.
- High attention to detail and organizational discipline in documentation and process control.
- Fluency in interpreting technical drawings specifications and defect classification criteria.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office quality management software and ERP tools.
- Knowledge of sustainable packaging practices
- Prior experience with privatelabel or custom product development processes.

Your Role
As a QA/QC Engineer, you will:
Core Job Functions:
- Oversee QA/QC activities on site.
- Supervise QAQC Inspectors and staff.
- Ensure projects meet specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure health and safety compliance.
- Liaise with subcontractors, architects, and stakeholders.
- Monitor quality, complete inspections, and report non-compliances.
- Analyse tolerance levels and log inspections.
- Coordinate with clients and production teams.
- Review and inspect materials received on site.
- Maintain QAQC paperwork and identify defect trends.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 5 years of experience as a QC Inspector.

Job Description

Responsibilities
Conduct and Participate in COMPANY Quality or technical compliance audits for CONTRACTOR, Sub CONTRACTOR or Vendors.
Review the contract documents for each Construction stage/phase in respect of QA/QC requirements and procedures and advise the Project Manager of any deficiency.
Review QA/QC site organization; make sure that, key personnel CVs are submitted by the CONTRACTORS and reviewed by PMTs relevant personnel, and advise the Project Manager of his comments.
Review QA/QC Procedures and document control as submitted by the CONTRACTORS and ensure implementation is in compliance with AGREEMENT requirements.
Review Inspection, Test, Plans as submitted by the CONTRACTORS and ensure compliance with AGREEMENT requirements.
Attend all activities on site and ensure their compliance with QA/QC procedure in respect of the format signed off by Contractors QA/QC Manager.
Ensure traceability of all materials and equipment from purchasing and up to delivery on site.
Check all materials and equipment as delivered on site and ensure its compliance with approved materials and specification.
Closely monitor site activities, fully coordinate with PMC discipline engineers, on a daily basis issuing NCRs in case of non-compliance and reporting to Project Manager in case of shortage of skilled laborer's and/or site supervision staff.
Participate with PMC staff in assessing concession requests and field Design Changes as submitted by CONTRACTOR.
Participate with PMC staff in reviewing the Close Out Report as submitted by CONTRACTORS.
Coordinate with all disciplines/CONTRACTORs for QA/QC.
Ensure that CONTRACTOR establish and submit a Project-Specific Quality Plan which complies with the requirements of the AGREEMENT.
Maintain and measure CONTRACTORs compliance with AGREEMENTs ANNEXURES as well as the Technical Specification.
Coordinate with CM to arrange and conduct Quality Meetings with CONTRACTORS on regular time interval agreed with COMPANYs QA/QC.
Ensure that CONTRACTOR establish a system for closing of all NCRs which complies with the requirements of the AGREEMENT.
Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within DEE, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by DEE.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
Qualifications
The Senior QA/QC Engineer shall be a qualified Engineer with minimum of 5 years up to 10 years experience in QA/QC works.
Candidate must be a Certified lead Auditor in Quality Management System from IRCA Registered Certification Organization and shall have good knowledge and experience with ISO 9000 series requirements.
Fluent in Arabic and English communication (Speaking and Correspondences).
The ability to mediate in a conflict situation.

To ensure the quality of all civil construction activities by conducting inspections, reviewing materials and workmanship, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards, and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of civil works including excavation, backfilling, concreting, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing activities.
- Review and verify that civil construction work is being executed in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and specifications.
- Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with project quality plans and client requirements.
- Raise and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site Observation Reports (SORs), and maintain corrective/preventive action records.
- Prepare Inspection Requests (IRs) and coordinate with consultants for inspections and approvals.
- Review and verify material submittals, certificates, and ensure materials used on site meet project requirements.
- Assist in preparing quality-related documents including ITPs, checklists, method statements, and test reports.
- Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation and ensure traceability for audits and project close-out.
- Participate in internal quality audits and assist in resolving any non-conformities found.
- Support testing and commissioning activities and review relevant reports and results.
- Ensure that work is carried out safely and in compliance with HSE procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4–5 years of UAE experience in QA/QC for civil construction (preferably in high-rise or villa projects).
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ISO standards, and local authority compliance.
- Familiar with UAE construction regulations and specifications.
