We are seeking a **QA QC Engineer** to lead the quality assurance function within our Data Centre Design and Engineering Team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical design outputs, processes, and deliverables across a range of engineering projects.
**What you'll do:**
+ Develop and implement a robust QA strategy tailored to electrical engineering design and documentation.
+ Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and compliance teams to embed quality throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Establish and maintain QA procedures aligned with ISO 9001, IEC, or other relevant standards.
+ Ensure all design documentation, drawings, and specifications meet internal and external quality requirements.
+ Conduct internal audits and support external audits and client inspections.
+ Oversee quality checks on electrical schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
+ Ensure adherence to design standards, regulatory codes, and client specifications.
+ Manage the review and approval process for design deliverables.
+ Identify quality risks and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
+ Lead root cause analysis for non-conformances and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Promote a culture of quality awareness and accountability across the organization.
+ Define and monitor key quality metrics (e.g., NCRs, rework rates, audit findings).
+ Provide regular quality performance reports to senior leadership and project stakeholders.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Or equivalent data centre industry experience.
+ Minimum 7 years of experience in quality assurance within an engineering or construction environment.
+ At least 3 years in a QA leadership or managerial role.
**Skills:**
+ Strong background in engineering design QA/QC, including familiarity with CAD/BIM tools and design documentation standards.
+ In-depth knowledge of engineering design practices and quality systems.
+ Familiarity with QA tools and document control systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation & submission of method statement & ITP.
  • Preparing all Civil, Architectural, ID inspection including material inspections.
  • Prepare training plan for different trades prior to activity starting at site.
  • Ensure all inspections at site are running as per ITP.
  • Ensure that all the testing's are being conducted as per approved method statement & ITP.
  • Monitor all the tools and equipment's at site that needs calibration.
  • Prepare QA/QC monthly report & project KPI report.
  • Liaise with the consultant for resolving any issue at site with regard to the quality of the work.
  • Liaise with consultant for the closure of NCRS.
  • ADM inspections follow up.
  • Preparing Handing over documents for the project.
  • Maintain all QAQC related records as per project quality plan and IMS system.
  • Lead and ensure that the construction teams are aware about the checking and testing criteria prior to start any activity at site.
  • Liaise with corporate QHSE Dept for the preparation of any Internal or external audits.

Line Manager: Regional Manager
Job Description: Working in the QAQC department of the company. Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Implementation of Inspection Programs and Standards
  • Third party monitoring of inspection companies
  • Producing the necessary reports covering your work activities
  • Knowledge for the release and verification of Drilling and Well Completion equipment
  • Monitoring of equipment assembly and disassembly

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
