Job Purpose:
The Research Manager will lead and oversee the design execution and delivery of market research projects ensuring high-quality outputs and actionable insights for clients. The role requires managing multiple research studies supervising a team of researchers and contributing to business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end market research projects (quantitative and qualitative) across various industries.
- Develop research proposals design methodologies and create research instruments (questionnaires discussion guides).
- Oversee data collection data analysis and interpretation of results.
- Prepare and present research findings and recommendations to clients.
- Manage and mentor junior researchers and ensure team development.
- Maintain regular communication with clients providing updates and managing expectations.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to timelines and budgets for all projects.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as analytics fieldwork and data processing.
- Contribute to business growth by identifying client needs and proposing new research solutions.
- Stay updated on market trends research techniques and industry developments.
- Ensure all research activities comply with relevant ethical guidelines and company policies.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Statistics Sociology or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a market research agency or client-side research role.
- Proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent client management and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in research tools and software (e.g. SPSS Excel PowerPoint).
- Experience with online survey platforms and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Strong leadership team management and mentoring capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
Preferred Skills:

Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in market research, preferably within an agency setting, with a proven track record in client-facing roles. At least 4 years of recent experience conducting studies in the MENA region.
- Expertise in designing and managing end-to-end qualitative research projects, covering methodologies such as in-depth interviews (IDIs) and focus group discussions (FGDs).
- Expertise in designing and managing end-to-end quantitative research projects, including BHTs, campaign impact assessments, etc.
- Experience in managing social listening studies is desirable.
- Experience in leveraging AI tools and technology for qualitative research is highly desirable.
- Regional Expertise: Strong understanding of the MENA region, particularly KSA and UAE, including cultural nuances, market dynamics, and consumer behavior.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
