**OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:**
+ Weigh all meats, seafood and poultry upon arrival before invoices are signed
+ Spot-check all other perishables and non-perishables upon arrival for quality, quantity and packaging, as well as the correct temperature
+ Make sure you sign upon receiving on invoice, check invoice with raised purchase order for verification on quality and price
+ Check food for possible cross-contamination and temperature abuse
+ Reject any product that is questionable
+ Store refrigerated and frozen food first - (put away within 30 minutes)
+ Note shortages/damages directly on invoice
+ Time Cards are punched in and out in uniform
+ Meal periods is 2 x 15 minutes plus 1 x 30 minutes
+ Notify Supervisor of any problems or complaints as and when they arise
+ No associate to be on property after working hours without authorization of manager except for meals in the associate cafeteria
+ Follow the 39 Point Checklist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail‑oriented and efficient Receiving Clerk to join our team at Rixos Al Mairid in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. As a Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our stores and receiving department, ensuring smooth procurement processes and accurate inventory control.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy using web‑based procurement software
- Oversee the ordering of food, beverages, dry goods, and stationery supplies in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts
- Track inventory transfers between storerooms and departments using inventory management software
- Implement and adhere to purchasing standards and food safety regulations
- Lead and execute month‑end inventory counts in various hotel areas
- Ensure proper storage and organization of received goods
- Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill supply requests efficiently
- Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Assist in cost management by monitoring and reporting on inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the receiving area
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all receiving activities
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting

A Receiving Clerk will manage the goods and deliveries moving in and out of the hotel and will ensure that these deliveries reach the appropriate destinations and logged according to the company 's purchasing and procurement standards.
Responsibilities- Acceptance and close control of all incoming goods in respect of volume and quantity
- Enter all internal goods movements into the computer system daily
- Carry out monthly inventories with Controlling; ensure orderliness and cleanliness in the area of responsibility
- Responsible for acceptance and rough checks on all items entering the hotel by volume and quality
- Issue immediate complaints
- Ensure that all articles reach their place of destination immediately
- Ensure orderly acceptance and passing on of events material and its return from the ramp
- Loan and empties return from the warehouse carried out independently
- Ensure tidiness and cleanliness in the area of responsibility
