What will you be doing here?

● P&L Ownership & Strategic Leadership: Assume full profit and loss responsibility for the MENA region. Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with Neokred's global objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and market leadership for both Payment Gateway and Digital Identity & KYC solutions.

● Sales & Revenue Generation: Drive aggressive sales targets for both product lines, identifying and securing high-value clients across key sectors such as financial services, e-commerce, gaming, government, and large enterprises. Oversee the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.

● Partnership Development & Management: Identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships with key ecosystem players, including banks, financial institutions, technology providers, and large enterprises, to expand market reach and accelerate adoption of Neokred's solutions.

● Market Expansion & Penetration: Lead market entry strategies into new MENA territories, conducting thorough market analysis, identifying opportunities, and adapting sales approaches to local nuances and regulatory environments.

● Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional sales and business development team. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

● Product & Solution Advocacy: Act as a primary advocate for Neokred's Payment Gateway and Digital Identity & KYC offerings, deeply understanding their technical capabilities, value propositions, and competitive differentiators.

● High-Level Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers at prospective and existing client organizations.

● Market Intelligence & Adaptation: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes (e.g., central bank regulations, data privacy laws) across MENA to inform strategic adjustments and product enhancements.

● Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate and insightful sales forecasts, performance reports, and market intelligence to the executive leadership team.

Who are we looking for?

● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Technology, or a related field. An MBA is highly preferred.

● Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in B2B sales leadership, with a significant portion dedicated to the fintech, payments, digital identity, regtech, or SaaS industries.

● Demonstrated P&L management experience with a clear track record of achieving and exceeding revenue and profitability targets.

● Extensive and proven sales and partnership development experience within the UAE and broader MENA region is mandatory.

● Deep understanding of Payment Gateway products, digital identity verification, KYC, AML, and regional regulatory compliance requirements.

● Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing sales and business development teams.

● Exceptional strategic thinking, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

The Opportunity

A leadership role responsible for driving top-line revenue and forecasts across regions by executing our commercial strategy and business plan using company processes and tools.

The Regional Director of Sales will:

    • Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
    • Set ambitious sales targets, establish performance metrics, and monitor progress towards achieving revenue goals.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the hotel DOSMs in MEA, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide strategy guidance and assistance to the Hotels with recruitment, development & motivation of high-performing hotel sales professionals; ensuring optimal hotel sales team staffing levels; hotel sales team skill development; implement strategies to enhance individual DOSM and Hotel Sales Team performance.
  • Business Development:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and partners to generate new business leads and strategic partnerships.
    • Lead negotiations for major opportunities, working closely with legal and finance teams to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and customer preferences to proactively identify business development opportunities.
  • Sales Operations Management:
    • Work with the VP Sales Fairmont & Raffles AEMEA and the Sales Operations team to oversee the development and implementation of effective sales processes, tools, and systems to streamline sales operations and maximize sales productivity.
    • Monitor hotel contracted segment (sales) performance, analyse data, and generate executive summaries for senior management to update on sales effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with marketing and revenue management teams to align sales efforts with promotional activities, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Operations Leadership in the setting and management of owner expectations in relation to hotels' commercial performance. Providing commercial activity and performance updates.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, operations leadership, finance, and revenue management, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with broader organisational goals.
    • Provide input and participate in the development of campaigns, pricing strategies, and product / service enhancements to drive revenue growth.

    Qualifications:

    • Preferred Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field.
    • 4 years + experience as a DOSM in a single property or for a cluster of hotels. Preferably under a luxury brand.
    • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the hotel industry, with a focus on revenue growth and market expansion.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies, drive results, and exceed targets.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
    • Sound business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.
    • Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems and distribution technology.
    • Flexibility to travel as required.
