• Assist in diagnosing and repairing faults/defects on equipment/vehicles and plant under breakdown, minimizing downtime.
• Record all work-related activities during shifts in the logbook or work order system to aid planning and maintenance management.
• Follow standard safety procedures during maintenance activities to prevent injuries or damage.
• Inform Maintenance Technicians/Senior Maintenance Technicians of needed spare parts and tools for timely completion of maintenance.

• A 2-year trade certificate in engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in maintenance—facilities, auto, electrical, civil mechanics—in a large organization, ideally in aviation ground support or cargo handling.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, automobile, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems of light vehicles or material handling equipment.

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Kitchen Equipment Repair Specialist to join our Facilities Department.

• Repair and maintenance of commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment including walk-in freezers, steam cookers, refrigerators, ice machines, washers, ovens, dryers, dishwashers, and water coolers.
• Installation of new equipment and replacement of defective parts.
• Proficiency in soldering and brazing for refrigeration maintenance and compressor installation.
• Optimization of PPM operations to prevent downtime.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years' experience preferably 5 or more in key kitchen equipment repair and maintenance. To succeed as a Key Kitchen Equipment Repair Specialist you should be confident in maintenance and repair tasks troubleshooting and corrective actions.

• Coordinate with clients and internal teams for timely service delivery.
• Maintain service records and submit daily work reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or technical certificate in air conditioning or HVAC systems.
• Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC technician experience in the UAE, preferably in facilities management or general maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Familiar with safety standards and regulations in the UAE.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

• Education: High Diploma in Mechanics.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
• Certifications/Training: Brand Advanced Technician Qualification Certification is required.
• Languages: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
• Computer Skills: Computer literate.
• Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with telephone and computer systems is preferred.

• You perform all services, call-backs and repairs on customers' equipment in an efficient, effective, and professional manner to provide outstanding customer service, following the security rules.
• You respond to all call-backs that are assigned in a timely manner and are available for call-back coverage.
• You work in a cooperative and sharing manner with other technicians to provide the highest overall customer satisfaction for the branch.
• You keep the customer informed regarding the condition of their equipment, preventive and corrective repairs, and discretionary repairs or modernisations.
• You comply with all safety policies and requirements of Schindler and the customer.
• You complete all required data inputs in a diligent and honest fashion; these include time reporting, parts usage, and call callback reporting.
