Reporting to: Finance Director

Position Purpose:

Manage a team of 6 accountants to handle various finance, accounting and tax matters, including schedules review, month-end closing, process improvements and collection reconciliation process locally. Work closely with the financial planning & control teams for closing and variance analysis and with the Accounting shared service center based in Indonesia. Support Finance Director and together with the rest of the team on process documentation and enhancements, including but not limited to those related to finance systems.

Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 6 accounting professionals including cash reconciliation process managed locally, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members.

Accounting & Controlling:

  • Oversee back-office teams in Indonesia, ensuring precise financial processing, seamless interdepartmental coordination, and ongoing enhancement of support functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and period-end financial closings in compliance with accounting standards, coordinating closely with the controlling department.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring compliance with LVMH policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to budgeting and monthly forecasting of landlord charges, providing accurate cost projections, variance analysis, and accounting inputs to support the controlling team.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the smooth audit closure of all entities on a timely basis.
  • Facilitate and provide required information to tax advisors for tax filings, transfer pricing documentations and support in the customs and tax inspections from government authorities.
  • Support the global tax team with ad hoc projects and initiatives on tax topics in the region.
  • Oversee the Collection reconciliation team, ensuring accurate and timely variance reporting between recorded sales and actual collections.
  • Monitor the performance and implement process enhancements to improve reconciliation accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the team in ensuring internal control compliance and provide guidance on store training initiatives, ensuring they are effectively led and implemented by the team to address existing deficiencies.

Process Improvement & Special Projects:

  • Drive continuous improvement across accounting and reconciliation processes, identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and controls.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by the CFO.
  • Collaborate with the Financial and Planning, Treasury, leasing and other finance leaders to support the overall financial strategy of the organization.

Work closely with the financial planning & control teams for closing and variance analysis and with the Accounting shared service center based in Indonesia. Support Finance Director and together with the rest of the team on process documentation and enhancements, including but not limited to those related to finance systems.

Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 6 accounting professionals including cash reconciliation process managed locally, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members.

Accounting & Controlling:

  • Oversee back-office teams in Indonesia, ensuring precise financial processing, seamless interdepartmental coordination, and ongoing enhancement of support functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and period-end financial closings in compliance with accounting standards, coordinating closely with the controlling department.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring compliance with LVMH policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to budgeting and monthly forecasting of landlord charges, providing accurate cost projections, variance analysis, and accounting inputs to support the controlling team.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the smooth audit closure of all entities on a timely basis.
  • Facilitate and provide required information to tax advisors for tax filings, transfer pricing documentations and support in the customs and tax inspections from government authorities.
  • Support the global tax team with ad hoc projects and initiatives on tax topics in the region.
  • Oversee the Collection reconciliation team, ensuring accurate and timely variance reporting between recorded sales and actual collections.
  • Monitor the performance and implement process enhancements to improve reconciliation accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the team in ensuring internal control compliance and provide guidance on store training initiatives, ensuring they are effectively led and implemented by the team to address existing deficiencies.

Process Improvement & Special Projects:

  • Drive continuous improvement across accounting and reconciliation processes, identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and controls.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by the CFO.
  • Collaborate with the Financial and Planning, Treasury, leasing and other finance leaders to support the overall financial strategy of the organization.

Do not hesitate to apply if you have:

  • Expert knowledge of SAP and IFRS knowledge is mandatory.
  • Advanced Excel is mandatory.
  • 5+ years as Finance Leader in multinational and large-scale companies; a previous experience in retail industry is preferred.

About This Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, commercially savvy Finance & Reporting Manager to own end-to-end financial reporting, controls, and operational finance for our new digital telco brand in MENA. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enabling regional growth through robust financial governance, streamlined processes, and actionable insights.

The ideal candidate combines deep accounting expertise and strong business acumen, with experience in financial systems, process automation, and a hands-on approach to delivering accurate, timely financial information that drives confident business decisions.

What you will do

  • Lead month-end close activities and ensure timely, accurate preparation and delivery of management accounts aligned with business rhythms
  • Own the integrity of the general ledger; develop comprehensive knowledge of transaction flows, data hierarchies, and accounting treatments across markets and product lines
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting processes, including enhancing automation, efficiency, and accuracy across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles
  • Harmonize and standardize country-level financial data across multiple ERP platforms to improve visibility, consistency, and reporting transparency across products and operational units
  • Manage regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local financial regulations in the MENA region
  • Provide commercial and operational finance insights to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and performance management discussions with senior leadership
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop and scale a tech-enabled, resilient finance function designed to support multi-market expansion and digital innovation
  • Document finance processes, controls, and workflows to ensure scalability and audit readiness

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably within multinational or fast-growth digital consumer or technology companies (B2C)
  • Strong accounting foundation with proven expertise in financial reporting, general ledger management, and statutory compliance
  • Demonstrated success managing month-end close processes and aligning financial data across disparate ERP systems or financial platforms
  • Experience driving finance process automation, controls optimization, and data integrity improvements
  • Comfortable working with large transactional datasets, including data mapping, financial analytics, and hierarchical reporting structures
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial reporting tools, and documentation best practices
  • Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or telco, especially in a regional MENA context, is highly desirable

Job Overview:

The Budgeting & Reporting Manager develops and manages budgets, prepares financial reports, and provides strategic financial insights to support organizational decision-making. This role ensures financial compliance, drives process improvements, and leads critical financial cycles.

Key Responsibilities: Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Lead annual budgeting (pre/post) quarterly updates and daily expenditure monitoring.
  • Develop budgets with cross-departmental input and maintain forecasting tools.
  • Perform Budget vs. Actual analysis with variance justifications and KPI reporting.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and variance reports.
  • Deliver actionable insights and presentations to senior management/stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy and deadlines for all financial reporting.
Compliance & Controls:
  • Ensure adherence to IFRS financial regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain Chart of Accounts and update accounting manuals/procedures.

  • Support VAT compliance and act as backup for audit tasks.
Operations & Leadership:
  • Manage receivables: oversee collections and relevant meetings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance financial processes.

  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
  • Support CFO on ad-hoc assignments and finance team deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA).
  • 7-12 years of experience in budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, financial software, and IFRS.
  • Background in Real Estate, Construction, or related industries.
