This interactive, applications-driven 5-day course will highlight the added value that data analytics can offer a professional as a decision support tool in management decision making. - Proven experience working with core-banking systems and exposure to digital transformation projects.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and expertise with JIRA.
- Exceptional written communication skills, adept at working in asynchronous, collaborative environments.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with excellent stakeholder management.
- Relevant professional certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile Scrum, Data Analytics).

The Institutional Research Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to the Office of Institutional Research. This role is designed to assist in the effective execution of institutional research and reporting functions, particularly those related to internal and external data submissions, documentation, stakeholder surveys, and performance monitoring. The role supports the University by ensuring the timely preparation, validation, and organisation of data and reports, enabling informed decision-making and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Internal & External Reporting
- Assist in collecting, formatting, and validating institutional data from various academic and administrative departments.
- Support the preparation of standard reports, regulatory submissions, and ad-hoc data requests by compiling documentation and organising content.
- Help maintain reporting calendars, data dictionaries, and template files to support reporting cycles to KHDA, CAA, CHEDS, and other bodies.
- Coordinate internal workflows required for data verification and submission, including follow-ups and quality checks.
- Conduct preliminary desk research and assist in compiling environmental data and benchmarking information to support institutional reports.

The Center for Smart Engineering Materials (CSEM), New York University Abu Dhabi, are inviting applications for a Kawader fellows in the areas of thermal, mechanical and electrical characterization of materials.
The candidate will work as a research fellow with the CSEM and the Smart Materials Lab (Naumov research group), nyuad.nyu.edu/en/research/faculty-research/naumov-group.html). The role will involve preparing, characterizing and testing new smart materials, at the intersection of materials science, chemistry, and engineering. A strong background in thermal or mechanical characterization of the surface and bulk properties of solids from either science (solid-state physics) or engineering (mechanical) is a requirement. The specific research projects will focus on both experimental and modeling aspects of the effects of temperature on mechanical properties, such as ability for elastic or plastic deformation. The candidate will conduct experiments related to assigned research projects, process the data, and prepare results for presentation in articles and conferences. Additionally, the candidate will submit biweekly reports on their research and participate in group seminars. Training students, such as capstone students or interns, and other researchers on techniques within their research domain is also part of the role. The candidate will collaborate with the staff of the Core Technology Platforms to receive training on available analytical techniques.
The candidate should have a background in mechanical engineering, solid-state physics or chemistry, or materials solid-state chemistry. Candidate with experimental skills and/or modelling experience with characterization of thermal and mechanical properties, and with a strong publication record in engineering or science will be given a priority.
The candidate will also work on individualized research projects under the supervision/mentorship of the supervisor.
