Vice President, Global Media Rights and Broadcast Partnerships
Location: UAE, India, or U.S. | Full-Time | Reports directly to the CEO
Baseball United is the first professional baseball league focused on the Middle East and South Asia. We've built a historic platform with games broadcast in 120+ countries, 15M+ viewers over 2 signature events, and a growing fanbase across India, Pakistan, the GCC, and beyond. Baseball United's historic first season begins November 14, 2025. We're looking for a proven media rights leader to help take our broadcast business to the next level.
Your MissionYou'll partner with Baseball United's CEO on developing and implementing the league's global broadcast rights strategy, execution, and growth. That means closing deals — not just opening doors. Focus on securing fees for the league's media rights, as well as revenue sharing, barter, and promotional partnerships and activations. You'll identify the right partners, negotiate value-driven media agreements, and activate those partnerships to grow viewership, revenue, and brand equity.
What You'll Do- Lead global media rights sales across India, Pakistan, GCC/MENA, U.S., Japan, and beyond
- Negotiate and close licensing deals for linear TV, OTT, digital, highlights, and supplemental content
- Develop and pitch tailored broadcast proposals to senior-level execs at top broadcasters (Sony, Star, PTV, Zee, beIN, MBC, DAZN, etc.)
- Activate partnerships post-signing, coordinating with our marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless execution
- Benchmark and reference media rights packages based on data and comparables from IPL, PSL, MLB, UFC, and other top leagues
- Align with our commercial team to support sponsorship and brand integrations within media platforms
- Provide real-time updates and recommendations to the CEO
- A closer with 10+ years in sports media, broadcast rights, or sports marketing
- Deep, active relationships with broadcasters and platforms in India, Pakistan, MENA, and/or U.S.
- Proven experience negotiating media rights deals across regions and formats (TV, OTT, digital)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — persuasive, clear, and strategic
- Startup-minded and culturally aligned: entrepreneurial, positive, solutions-focused
- Strong knowledge of cricket, baseball, or emerging sports is a plus
- Be part of a once-in-a-generation sports league launching in the most exciting emerging markets
- Work directly with the Founder & CEO to shape the future of baseball in South Asia and the Middle East
