We are seeking a seasoned Security Specialist, Assistance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security intelligence and risk assessment.
The Security Specialist, Assistance will support our regional teams by delivering high-quality security risk assessments, advice, and coordination of assistance for travellers, assignees, and clients. They will ensure operational readiness, maintain our security provider network, and uphold service excellence.
- Deliver tailored security risk assessments for individuals and organizations based on their profiles and travel itineraries.
- Coordinate and respond to security requests for assistance, including developing Plans of Action (POAs) and managing live cases.
- Monitor and manage GPS tracking and communications for clients operating in high-risk or complex environments.
- Manage security assistance cases, including triage, advice, documentation, escalation, and shift handovers.
- Maintain and expand our global provider network, supporting operational readiness and planning.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams throughout all stages of an incident or case.
- Strong knowledge of the political and security landscape within the region.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex situations to non-expert audiences.
- Ability to critically analyse multiple streams of information under time pressure.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of risk assessments.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and other applications.
- Proven experience in security intelligence or related fields, such as military, government, NGO, or journalism.
- Independent travel experience to multiple countries, including more challenging risk environments.
- Risk and Crisis management.
- Experience in writing to senior management and decision-makers.
- International work experience, including in more challenging risk environments.
- Experience of working in a customer/client-focused role.
- Educated to a degree level (or relevant professional training) in a field related to security, risk management, international politics, or international relations.
- A Master's degree in similar fields is an advantage.

Focus: Risk assessments, compliance risk frameworks, AML/CTF strategy, internal controls, regulatory horizon scanning.
- Contribute to the global Compliance Risk Management Program .
- Lead the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) for AML/CTF and adjacent areas (Sanctions, Market Abuse, Anti-Bribery & Corruption).

- 5+ years of compliance experience in regulated financial institutions .
- 2+ years specifically in compliance risk or EWRA frameworks .
- Experience working with global stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
- Strong grasp of AML/CTF frameworks , risk appetite settings, and control monitoring.
- Excellent communicator, capable of translating technical risk analysis for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Proactive , self-directed, and able to function effectively in a fast-paced, cross-border environment .
