Responsibilities:

1. Managing design quality, budget alignment & program adherence simultaneously.
2. Managing design consultants daily, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and best practice standards.
3. Managing and coordinating the Authority requirements and Permitting process/procedures with the local Authorities, Client and Contractors involved.
4. Managing and coordinating the overall design and development process in coordination with the client's wider project and delivery team.
5. Coordinating with the client's procurement team in the preparation and execution of consultant bidder's lists, RFPs, and technical evaluations.
6. Ensuring consultant submissions are complete and comply with the deliverable lists identified in the consultant's contract.
7. Facilitating expedient consultant invoicing & stage payments.
8. Preparing and presenting stage-gate presentations to the client's management.
9. Managing material submission and approvals.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate design consultant work, edit contracts if needed, and review payments.
2. Supervise and coordinate design changes and revisions of design and construction drawings.
3. Assess shop drawings for correctness and alignment with approved plans and design intent.
4. Organize and contribute to designing and developing design and construction delivery strategies.
5. Maintain records and prepare reports and presentations on design and development projects.
6. Provide design feedback and recommendations to align with the approved direction and design intent.
7. Oversee site inspections to check development project progress and to confirm compliance with regulations and specifications.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum of 5 full years of experience as a senior robotics engineer or in a similar role with a focus on mobile robots.

- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, C#.

- Understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and Computer Vision.

- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for designing robotic components.

- Experience with sensors, actuators, and control systems used in robotics.

- Experience with mobile robots or autonomous vehicles.
