Job Opportunity
- Deliver high-quality technical assistance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for advanced robotic systems in spot and stretch products environments.
- Install, maintain, optimize, and repair robotic systems on-site to ensure seamless integration and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair robotic systems to minimize downtime and quickly recover operations.
- Optimize robotic systems and software for enhanced performance by conducting routine maintenance and servicing to identify issues before they impact system functionality.
- Lead the installation of new robotic systems, ensuring seamless integration into the customer's warehouse environment, including system configuration, setup, and calibration.
- Provide hands-on training to customers to ensure they fully understand system operation and maintenance procedures, offering ongoing support to resolve any questions or issues post-installation.
- Address warranty-related issues, ensuring proper procedures are followed and customers are fully supported.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided, including troubleshooting, repairs, parts replaced, and training conducted, to ensure up-to-date service reports are submitted on time.
- Collaborate with internal teams to relay customer feedback and assist in product improvements or troubleshooting escalations.
- BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS IS KEY TO ENSURING SATISFACTION AND ADDRESSING CONCERNS IN A TIMELY AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER.

About Maintenance at Amazon: Operations is at the heart of Amazon’s business. We drive continuous improvement and maintain all of the Robotics and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to ensure customer satisfaction. Join us to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will mentor junior technicians and grow your skills.
Responsibilities- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
- Maintain positive working relationships across the Amazon Operations facility.
- Track and store department inventory.
- Move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Please note that, due to operational requirements and scheduling constraints, specific shift assignments cannot be guaranteed.
Shift Availability- Front Half Day Shift: 4 days on, 3 days off (e.g., Sunday to Wednesday). 10-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute break.
- Back Half Day Shift: 4 days on, 3 days off (e.g., Wednesday to Saturday). Daytime hours, e.g., 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30-minute break.
- Front Half Night Shift: 4 days on, 3 days off (e.g., Sunday to Wednesday). Night hours, e.g., 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM with a 30-minute break.
- Back Half Night Shift: 4 days on, 3 days off (e.g., Wednesday to Saturday). Night hours, e.g., 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM with a 30-minute break.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
- 2+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment experience.
- 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics experience.
- 2+ years of safety standards experience.
- 1+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.
- Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field; or 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic input/output functions of building operations.
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Continuous improvement mindset; willingness to learn and grow within Amazon RME.
- Experience with MHE safety standards aligned with OEM and Safety standards; 2+ years with PLC-based controls systems.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles; experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is $56,680/year to $76,024/year, with variation based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
