Job Summary:

The Health & Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of food preparation, delivery and service meet the highest standards of health, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role involves the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System to ensure a safe working environment.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills in both English & Arabic with the ability to train and engaged diverse teams.

• Identify potential health and safety risks in the food preparation, delivery and service, and implement corrective actions and conduct risk assessment.

• Maintain a system for reporting, investigating incidents.

• Investigate HSE accidents, incidents, and near misses; in addition to foodborne illnesses and contamination.

• Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.

• Coordinate with the Food Quality Assurance Manager & Operations Manager in response to health and safety incidents.

• Support emergency preparedness and response plans (fire drills, first aid, evacuation, chemical spills).

Training & Education

• Develop educational materials and workshops for the staff to increase awareness of health and safety protocols.

• Promote a strong safety culture through HSE awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, and training sessions.

• Keep staff updated on the health and safety policy or regulations or best practices in both the production and service area.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of safety audits, inspections and incident reports.

Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and develop recommendations for continuous improvement and enhance health and safety and reduce risks.

• Certificate in occupational health and safety, safety management.
• At least 1- 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industries, specifically QA Management experience.
• Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Project.
• Auditing skills (internal and external) on Quality, Successful accreditation to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & OSHAD-SF.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English - Prefer not Mandatory.
