Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure HSE-compliance according to local laws and international standards at all workplaces;
- Prior Risk Assessment and Supervision of normal/standard and non-standard works;
- Maintaining and improving existing permit-to-work system and procedures;

Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science/Engineering and related studies from an accredited university or institution;
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in the field of HSE;
- NEBOSH/OSHA-Diploma holder in relevant field(s);
- Fluent in English language written and spoken; preferably Arabic speaking;
- Proficiency in MS office applications;
- Experienced in developing, applying, and managing Health, Safety, and Environment Management System;
- Ability to train staff in HSE-related issues;
- Very good manual- and report-writing skills.

Leams Education is inviting applications from school experienced Health & Safety Officer (Female) with NEBOSH certification, to ensure that all health and safety protocols are being adhered to in compliance with KHDA/DHA/DM guidelines.
Roles and responsibilities :
Developing regulations, policies, standards and guidelines to improve health and safety procedures for the school related to the safety and security of students, people and property.
Monitoring the implementation of these procedures.
Training relevant staff on best practices and Dubai Municipality (DM) & KHDA requirements.
Conducting all necessary training for students and staff.
Managing the designated isolation room on the school premises.
Provide guidelines on the daily and continuous cleaning and sanitisation requirements for school premises.
Adhering to DHA regulations.
Undertake fire safety audits, and coordinates with the Civil Defense during inspections and other fire & safety issues.
Undertake evacuation drills and produce appropriate reports.
Conduct and deliver fire safety training and orientations to all newly hired employees and conducts refresher course on an annual basis for all employees and maintain records of attendees.
Identifies potential safety or fire hazards; takes action or makes recommendations to eliminate hazards during regular inspection rounds.
Conducting all necessary contact tracing procedures by coordinating with the school clinic (which include contact tracing, recording of contacts’ details and all actions taken in the HASANA system).
Managing all emergency situations abiding by H&S protocols.
Updating contact and emergency numbers for staff and students.
Scheduling stakeholders’ meetings to address the priorities and result-oriented solutions.
Coordinating with the operations/maintenance team to ensure that H&S safety protocols are strictly followed.
Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
Record and investigate incidents; conduct a risk analysis.
Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to the school management
Requirements:
Proven experience as a school Health and Safety Officer with NEBOSH/IOSH CERTIFICATION
Knowledge of the principles of safety, accident, and fire prevention.
Ability to maintain composure and respond properly during emergencies.
Knowledge of regulatory policies, procedures, rules and regulations
Experience in writing incident reports and policies for health and safety.
Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
