Our client is seeking dedicated and proactive individuals (UAE National / Arab with extensive experience in UAE) to join the vehicle safety management team in Dubai, for the upcoming ground-breaking project in the public transportation. The primary responsibilities will involve handling and assisting in the vehicles safety management, specifically focusing on emergency response efforts. The role also involves fostering relationships with local authorities, particularly the RTA and Dubai Police Department, to ensure smooth coordination in post-incident management, claims processing, and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Emergency Response Management
    • Provide on-site assistance in managing traffic accidents, ensuring immediate response actions are carried out efficiently.
    • Assist in post-incident procedures, including documentation, processing claims, and coordinating with traffic police.
    • Ensure that safety protocols and local regulations are adhered to during emergency handling.
  • Coordination with Local Authorities
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local administrative authorities, particularly the Dubai Police Department and RTA.
    • Actively reach out and engage with relevant officials to stay informed on regulatory changes and best practices in vehicle management.
    • Facilitate smooth communication between internal teams and local authorities to address any vehicle-related issues.
  • Reporting & Documentation
    • Maintain accurate records of all traffic-related incidents and outcomes, ensuring proper documentation for claims and compliance purposes.
    • Prepare and submit reports regarding emergency responses, incidents, and interactions with authorities.
  • Other tasks assigned by the management

Requirements:

  • Arab National, UAE Citizens are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven experience working / dealing with the Dubai Police & RTA (Road and Transport Authority) is a MUST. (Previous employees of RTA / Dubai police are also accepted.)
  • Proven ability to handle vehicles safety management, emergency first responder, accidents management etc. And professionally interact with local authorities and solve issues effectively.
  • Native Arabic Speaker and fluent English skills are a Must. Chinese proficiency would be a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent organizational and documentation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with local authorities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives and operational leaders, linking operational risk outcomes to business performance.
  • Working across the asset lifecycle – from design and build to operations, maintenance, modification, and decommissioning – to improve safety resilience.

  • Contributing to thought leadership on PSM methodologies and mentoring junior colleagues.

Who are you today?

You are a recognised Subject Matter Expert in Process Safety , with deep technical competence in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and extensive experience applying process safety principles in operational environments.

Your experience and expertise include
  • Extensive practical experience in PHA techniques (HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA) – ideally as a qualified HAZOP Chair or PHA facilitator .
  • Proven success implementing PSM systems and risk management in high-hazard industries (Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, or similar).
  • Operational experience in international companies, with exposure across the full asset lifecycle.
  • Credibility from having worked in industry (e.g., operations, engineering, or process safety roles) and, ideally, consulting experience.
  • Strong understanding of the risk dimensions of PHA and the ability to present technical findings as clear, actionable advice.
  • Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills, able to work with both executives and technical teams.
  • Organised, analytical, and outcome-focused, comfortable managing complex projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent (MSc or MBA preferred).
  • ~15+ years of experience in process safety, operational risk, or engineering.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
