About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Sales Engineer for Building Management Systems with a renowned global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions. We are committed to creating innovative solutions that matter for people and our planet.

The primary responsibility of this role is to achieve financial objectives while adhering to the company's Code of Ethics and Quality Management System standards.

  1. Generate inquiries through market visits to contractors, consultants, end users, and FM companies
  2. Create sales opportunities and meet with customers
  3. Forecast and achieve sales and bookings for the month
  4. Follow up on quotation status with customers, understand requirements, and coordinate with application engineers to fulfill customer needs
  5. Obtain factory/supplier prices by completing formalities and required documents
  6. Review standard sales contracts and reach agreement with customers (payment, LC, warranty, etc.), following the approval process
  7. Review and transition sales orders with the Operations Team in coordination with Finance for approval
  8. Follow payment terms and conditions as instructed by the Finance Department and assist in collections
  9. Participate in weekly/monthly sales review, aging, and collection meetings
  10. Review and approve sheet costs and quotations according to the approval matrix
  11. Review monthly online backlog reports
  12. Ensure customers are periodically updated on the latest software, catalogs, and information from Carrier
  13. Create quotations aligned with specifications
  14. Perform technical submittals and clarifications with order finalization in coordination with the sales manager
  15. Ensure proper invoicing by sales coordinators
  16. Follow up on the delivery process with logistics
  17. Follow up on payment and collection terms in coordination with the finance department
Requirements

We are seeking candidates with:

  1. At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in the same or similar industry, preferably in UAE
  2. Thorough knowledge of the market and HVAC Controls / BMS products / Chiller Plant Manager
  3. Understanding of Total Quality Management and ISO processes & procedures
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Team player with excellent negotiation and computer skills
  6. Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage
