Qualifications and Skills:

Part of the Dubai Regional Office Commercial Team and reporting to the RO chief commercial officer, you are in charge of the Reefer Department at the Regional office, covering the Middle East Gulf, Indian Sub-Continent and Red Sea.

Mission and Responsibilities

As a VIP / SPECIAL DESK SALES MANAGER REEFER in the Dubai/Au Dhabi Regional Office, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage Reefer pricing for all RF Exports opportunities under scope of RSEA/MEG/ISC.
  • Supervise all RF commercial activities, analyse, evaluate, research & timely responses to pricing, bid, contract & rate inquiries.
  • Be the entry point for selected key accounts, including customer visits, rates negotiations, service promotion, follow up support with the regional commercial manager.
  • Collect market information & set pricing strategies to optimised weekly loading & maximise profitability.
  • Prepare reports, market studies & competitor analysis, perform other tasks as required by management.
  • Development new opportunities which could help to invest for certain shipping services, provide feedback to HO of local market conditions and benchmarking of similar services provided by competition.
  • Set countries budget & track their weekly performance with optimal cargo mix through participating in all RF seasons.
  • Monitor the equipment balance situation to help group to reduce their logistics cost.
  • Participate in all RF events & fairs, occasionally travelling to arrange special RF campaign to the designated countries.
  • Ensure that local sales teams are informed of the commercial strategy, their objectives and share with them any best practices & updates.
  • Coaching / Training / motivating the Reefer sales team across the region to perform best results.
Profile and Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in shipping industry, Reefer background is preferred & would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, proven track record in key account management & business development.
  • Fluency in both English & Arabic is required.
  • You are autonomous, you will be working closely with different departments in HO, RO and the subsidiaries. Good social and strong analytical / problem solving skills will also allow you to fully succeed in this mission.

Position Summary:

The Senior Pre-Sales Engineer will conduct all pre-sales activities to support the Middle-East region for Securonix. These activities include demonstrating the technical and business value of the Securonix solutions to potential clients and partners. This position requires the candidate to be a security industry subject matter expert who can clearly articulate SIEM, UEBA, and SOAR solutions to clients, potential clients, and partners. This position will report to the Sales Engineering Manager for the APMEA region. The Senior SE will work closely with the regional account manager for Middle-East and South-Africa.

Responsibilities:

  • Use technical features to calculate and demonstrate business value.
  • Assist Sales Executives in understanding clients' business objectives and articulate the value of Securonix solutions.
  • Conduct presentations at local/regional/national meetings and conferences to evangelize Securonix products and messaging.
  • Support the business by training and enabling Securonix partners and customers through workshops and other exercises.
  • Quarterback the RFP response process and coordinate with proper internal resources to deliver effective and accurate responses.
  • Manage proof of value (POV)/proof of concepts (POC) project deliverables and timelines, and shorten sales cycles when possible.
  • Coordinate and request company resources for POC/POV engagements.
  • Build win-win relationships with external customers/prospects and internal departments (Partners, Service Delivery, Architecture, Engineering, Cloud Operations, etc.).

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Information Technology Industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solution Architect, and/or client-facing Cyber-Security Consultant for SIEM/SOAR/SOC/UEBA or SIEM/SOAR/UEBA Deployment specialist.
  • Successful track record of new business production in several industries and ability to exceed quotas.
  • Excellent planning, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills. Self-starter who will meet or exceed personal goals.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity products, methods, and technology trends in the current market.
  • Broad understanding of the SIEM/SOC/MSSP space.
  • In-depth technical expertise in any one or 2 of the leading SIEM vendors and a broad understanding of the capabilities of most of the leading SIEM vendors.
  • Understanding of networking, application security, SIEM, and OS in a medium to senior-level capacity.
  • Experience deploying SIEM and/or UEBA and SOAR is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and other leading standards.
